Buildiium's new update just made my previous year's data go missing.

I have been using Buildium for over 5 years. I'm a treasurer of an association and it was the software used by management prior to me taking it over. I've been doing accounting for over 25 years. This software has a LOT of glitches. Just recently, I went to reconcile March of 2020 bank account and all of my reconciliation from 2019 through 2020 are no longer done and there is data missing. Don’t do it at this time.

We have 2 accounts one for normal property management and one for vacation rentals since neither side is great at either you have to manipulate things to make rentals work properly and you have to really manipulate things to make vacation rentals work somewhat well. But Buildium is in my opinion 3-5 years behind other services out there for the same money and ins one cases less. My review is not about the software it…

My review is not about the software it is about the poor customer service. I was very interested in the product so I want to download the trail version. I have tried to do that multiple times and every time I submit I just get an "oops". It states I should call a number for support. I have tried that as well. I get two options , If you are a customer press 1 if you are a tenet press 2. Then just silence.

Great tool for your property management tasks

PROS: It has features that are helpful for record-keeping purposes, such as documentation of date and time of communication lines and updates. It also has efficient channels for clients to access some info and get in touch with our company easily. In addition, communicating with other company members and organizing meetings are easier too.

Customer for 22 months - pros and cons

I have been a Buildium customer since 2018, about 22 months. The software itself is pretty good until they do a release. When the release breaks something and the accounts get messed up (like they did a upgrade for lease renewals that had a bug where the leases did not renew with the correct rent amount), the communication is horrible and they fix the problem going forward but not the messed up accounts. Builidum is the Best
