overall its a great product

overall its a great product! its made our business much more efficient. things to improve: the app isnt super user friendly. our maintenance team tells us that it doesn't work sometimes, they cant update the tasks, and that pics are difficult to upload. in addition, we've asked to have docusign added to more than just leases for the residents to sign electronically. personally, i wish there were more reports that i could have access too (as the owner) that would give me better data. i ...

Good morning I usually never write…

Good morning I usually never write reviews about people, but Andrew Burrell. On board me with everything to get the ball going on your guy system and has answered most of my questions better than everybody else you have and it’s not his job to answer the questions. Also with the billing has been messed up since day one and he’s been trying to fix it ever since.

Good in general, but too many work arounds

In general, Buildium is a great piece of software for Property Management. It's relatively easy to navigate, customer service is nice, the help resources are pretty good, and the features are great. I knocked off a star, though, because even with all the great features, it seems like they don't blend together very well. There are way too many work arounds and not enough fluid procedures.

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. They also keep charging me even after I cancelled my account. They didn't allow me to reactivate my account to pull the data from them. I do not recommend this company to anybody.

bait and switch:(

I liked the actual software. The bad review is because of their unprofessional business practices. They expect you to leave a credit card or bank account on file and then they change their fees mid subscription. I paid for an annual subscription- it was almost 2000$. The incoming EFT fees were waived with the growth subscription. 6 months in they changed their policy and now they charge for incoming EFT fees. Great Software / Minor glitches

The software has been a great update for our office. The difficult part is with any property that has splits, the reports do not show the split figures which is confusing to the owners. We also run into some issues with lease renewals and the default letter for those but we have adjusted as needed.

Buildium used to be great. Now not so great.

Buildium is great. But I would not recommend it to new landlords. The background search function is entirely broken. It used to work but for some reason, Buidlium decided to switch to a new provider. That provider is terrible. So that's my review. I like Buildium but I would not recommend it.

-Your software does not work well

-Your software does not work well. It freezes up - for all staff whether they are in the office or on other computers outside of the office. -The software takes forever to run banking transactions for prior years and I was told that your server gets bogged down when this is requested. Buildium dropped the ball

I thought it was me but no. Several years ago, I was a member and boy was it top notch service, response, availability to the customer. I dabbled with the program and loved it. Fast forward to Nov 2023. I decide to reinstate a new account and start 2024 organized. It appears that once they received my payment for the year, they locked me out of my account.
