BE AWARE! DO NOT USE! Horrible customer service. Software does NOT work. We have tenants waiting to get their application processed. Glitches with software and they do not guarantee time frame (per Dave the manager!). We have been calling for 3 days and they are still saying that they do not know when It's going to work! ***Update-Buildium is quick to respond within a couple of hours to my review yet has waited more than 3 days to correct their software glitch! I am losing hundred's a day ...

My experience have always been amazing! Easy access to support and always very helpful people around to help me. Yesterday the girl who helped me was amazing, I did not get her name, but she help me out all the way and make sure I understand, hear me out and make sure I did what I need. Thank you so much!

Very happy overall

Overall, our experience as a Property Management Company utilizing Buildium is positive. We ran into some challenges in the process of switching from our old software, but we had "onboarding specialists" along the way to help train us. Our tenants like to be able to pay by EFT for $0, where many services charge a fee, the system organizes maintenance requests and has helped us improve on following up on them, the system has an add on software to allow inspections along with photos to go ...

Outstanding customer service

Buildium is an extremely deep piece of software. Although they need updating, The Buildium Academy offers thorough training. Our experience with customer support has been exceptional. Sometimes we have to wait to get help, but when you do reach them, they are thorough and stay with you until your question is answered.

They don't care to support you and will let tenants commit fraud

I have had 2 separate tenants fraudulently dispute their rent payments through buildium. 6 months of rent swiped out of my account because Buildium does not protect their landlords. I even sent lease history and the Buildium staff says they don't care. They just want their management fees and literally could care less to help me avoid fraudulent reversals.

I own multiple properties and I am currently renting through a Corporation in Houston Texas which uses Buildium as the collection service for the monies distributed. There are numerous glitches in their software and the auto payments are immediately setup for the service whether you activate them or not. Buildium is the worst software I have ever used. The software was written by two-year-olds. The company is run by two-year-olds. Customer service... non-existent. They keep updating features at random times and make them less useful or not useful at all. (Groups, Client Statements, Management Fee payout screen, Lease renewal section, Property Manager name field, giving you access to your own client income detail for 1099 processing, mailing labels, etc.) To anyone in need of property ...
