Awful experience!

Awful experience! Save you money. Awful support, no training, no help, charge hidden fees for credit card tenant's payment, and can't provide information who paid with the credit card.

I was a Buildium user for over 10 years…

I was a Buildium user for over 10 years and this is my personal opinion, there has been many draw backs Such as, their platform lacks integration with QuickBooks, and their accounting software is not something most bookkeepers or CPAs are comfortable using, which has been highly problematic. But their customer support was worth all the shortfalls. Well time have changed: their customer support is now outsourced to a call center in India, where staff lack the necessary knowledge to ...

Buildium is a business saver

Buildium is a business saver. The ease of being on the beach and being able to monitor residents requests, send a contractor, pay the contractor and never pick up the phone. Even doing taxes is a breeze with the accountant getting their own portal and having access to the accounting they need. Applications, background checks, and even renters insurance all in one place. Keep it up guys.

Buildium Improvements Don't Cause Roadblocks

Buildium is continually striving to improve their product and encourages user participating in voting for which changes are priority. My business model is somewhat different than most and as such, I don't necessarily want to implement every new whizbang feature they roll out (some I want to implement after MY EVALUATION, some I may never want to implement.) For the most part, their development method allows me to only implement those changes which I find useful and ignore or easily work ...

User since 2018

Overall, a good system with room for improvement. Customer service has gone down hill since purchased by Realpage. They seem to focus more on rentals than HOA/COA's.

The Best decision!

The Best decision! We switched from Promas to Buildium 5 years ago. Buildium is so much more user friendly. We have multiple property managers with their own portfolios, it's super easy to manage, use and it's all inclusive. I haven't looked at another system since because Buildium does everything and is always improving. Thanks for making this hard job that much easier.

Truspilot website and Buildium sub-association budgeting woes

Five things: 1) [today, in the request for comment email, Trustpilot?] Upon clicking the email's "Write Your Review" button: HTTPS-Only Mode Alert Secure Site Not Available You’ve enabled HTTPS-Only Mode for enhanced security, and a HTTPS version of go.buildium.com is not available. 2) [Buildium] Continued frustration that we are not able to create an HOA sub-association (or even such for a select set of GLs) budget and, 3) see YTD amounts, by month, etc., budget-vs-actuals, and ... 4) ...

In the Blue Box on the Tenant Page

In the Blue Box on the Tenant Page, we need the following information. 1. Square Footage 2. Other Charges, i.e. NNN, Utilities, etc. 3. Whether the tenant has an option to renew. We call this area the Lease Abstract area. It would be great if the Rent Roll under Rentals included Square Footage. It would be awesome if the regular Rent Roll under Reports included other charges, i.e., NNN Charges, Utilities.
