Social Listening Platform

What do you like best? The tool is very efficient in gathering data and providing accurate coverage across social platforms. What do you dislike? Do with the interface when creating the monitors was easier to maneuver. The contract is based on the number of monitors versus the number of licenses. Therefore it is easy to run out of monitors on which to build the reports. Recommendations to others considering the product: The limited amount of monitors does make it difficult ...

Powerful DIY Social Listening Tool

What do you like best? Brandwatch is a very powerful social listening tool, and getting better all of the time. The breadth of the data it captures is impressive, and you are only limited in the tool by your own knowledge of how to use the system. Therefore, if you know how to create smart, tightly structured queries, how to create smart rules to help save manual search and filing, already have a set of keywords to plug in to your query, and know how to use the more advanced chart ...

Ability to work with the press coverage data doesn't matter when Brandwatch can't capture everything

What do you like best? The tool has a lot of functionality around social monitoring and ability to work with press/blog coverage data in the system, but unfortunately it could not capture all of the news in which out company was included. What do you dislike? The tool did not capture all the articles on our company, and the sales team intentionally mislead us trying to lock us into another year contract. Recommendations to others considering the product: The use case we ...

User friendly

What do you like best? Filter options are one of the best features. I feel the ease of use to the tool is recognizeble What do you dislike? But I still feel that their ability to grab data is still a job with can be done better. Facebook's mentions are not pulled in real time. The delays are unacceptable What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Media Listening and analysis are the main two

Great tool, but poor customer service

What do you like best? The query is amazing. You can pre-clean the data you are going to get and that assures you to get the mentions related to your topic. That helps saving time and money, because you won't have to delete the mentions and the quantity of mentions are going to be directly related to the theme. The alerts and signals are very helpful during crisis, and I love the alerts by specific author, as there are a lot of different detractors and we can assign the answer to a ...

A bit buggy

What do you like best? Visualizations are useful to wow clients. What do you dislike? The queries take awhile and the Topic Wheel has become buggy for all of our reports. Sometimes it will not load at all, while other visualizations so. It will also keep a filter on after you turn it off, rendering inaccurate topic wheel information. The sentiment analysis is also unreliable. I don't like the algorithm at all. Recommendations to others considering the product: Better than ...

Share

What do you like best? Crimson Hexagon allows users to save all relevant data visualizations and metrics into a shared workspace that can be quickly transformed into a holistic report. What do you dislike? Word clouds and topic waves are often difficult to generate if there isn't enough conversation volume. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Social listening, crisis communications and share of voice studies versus competitor brands.

Brandwatch - Historical Social Listening

What do you like best? The best feature about Brandwatch is the backtracking of historical data. It can backtrack data up to mid 2010. This is very useful if you want to track trends from previous years to reference for any marketing analytics function you can put your hands into. What do you dislike? It's less instinctive to use than other social listening tools I''ve used in the past. Previously very involved with Social Studio, now using other social listening tools + ...
