A mediocre cloud service

I used their service on my PC for several years and as a form of cloud backup, it worked well. The UI was always rather unappealing and clunky. The desktop app always showed an error in updating files, for some unknown reason. And recently, the storage quota wasn't updating correctly and I wasn't given the appropriate space. On to better things...

Very mediocre syncing tool

Very mediocre syncing tool. Every time is restart my computer it has the re-read all the files, which takes a lot of time and processing power (hours). Next to that, every time I reinstall or change the folder location it doubles my files in a separate folder with my email-adress behind it and I have to wait till everything is downloaded (150GB) before I can delete the duplicate folder.. This is not a bug, it's a feature according to Box. Great...It's also slow and stuck very often.

50 gb gratis og stadig dårligt produkt

Uploader utrolig langsomt, fx ændring af navn på en mappe eller fil. Programmet er blevet bedre men er stadig dårligt. Hjemmesiden er også ret dårlig. Man kan ikke lave backup af fx iPhoto arkiv og lignende. Dropbox er bedre - desværre ikke så meget gratis plads. Der er en del begrænsninger ved box.com. Anbefales ikke

Yes sadly I had the same problem as…

Yes sadly I had the same problem as most of you. Everyone with being up charges and then charged 3x the agree rate. My bill want from about $40 and month to over $900. There was some kind of mistake that I tried to clear up but they wouldn't work with me and they hijacked my files. Unless I payed them. It's extortion. The sad thing is I have been a customer for about 15 just to get screwed by them. So sad and disappointed with there service.

Terrible support and account management…

Terrible support and account management from your company today. Not allowed to speak with support, billing team not yet open and UK account manager and main telephones lines go to voice mail. How long will you leave us down for until someone takes notice?24th Dec 2021 update - Box.com left us completely down for most of the UK working day for non payment of a 2 user upgrade invoice (we have 15 users in total). We actually signed a Direct Debit form in October which they failed to process ...

This is the most corrupt company I have…

This is the most corrupt company I have ever dealt with. NO ONE is available in customer service. They charge you 3X the amount they say they will charge then block your files from being available if you don't pay. Stay clear from this company!

Box.com has refused to issue a refund

We attempted to cancel Box.com multiple times and were still charged with the renewal fee. After several contacts with the company the charge has not been reversed. We opened a ticket and followed up through the only number you can get a human on and still we have not been refunded our $1,800

They have misleading information in…

They have misleading information in their website. Monthly subscription but they charge for whole year.They write maximum users : unlimited. In fact you have pay each all users, limited only 3 users.THEY ALWAYS TRY TO TRAP YOU WITH THEIR MISLEADING INFORMATIONS IN THEIR WESBITE.

The Box tech team is unable to resolve…

The Box tech team is unable to resolve issues on their end when attempting to handle the two-step authentication lock-out issues.I've had the runaround from them for weeks. USELESS!
