What do you like best? Backline is user friendly and is integrated with SAP. It helps us manage our risk. What do you dislike? Sometimes when I am in the account rec tool, I don't know which hat I am wearing. Recommendations to others considering the product: Know your company's need and commitment level before you go to Blackline. You should implement 4 modules to make it fully integrated. "Enhances control"

What do you like best? facilitates internal controls and record retention What do you dislike? Sometimes new features may have bugs. There should be more testing prior to rolling out new features. What do you like best? Blackline is a great business partner. Their product provides great insight into our business and increases efficiencies. What do you dislike? "Ease of Use"

What do you like best? I like how easy Blackline is to use. It is very self-explanatory. The system calculates quickly. What do you dislike? I don't like having to jump back and forth between between the preparer / approver role when looking at reconciliations. Would be great to see all listed at one point in time. What do you like best? The task management module. Automated checklist provides reminders for all required activities. What do you dislike? What do you like best? I love the ability to bring in large volume of data to streamline acct recs and speed up the bank reconciliation process with automated matching. What do you dislike? What do you like best? We've been using the Blackline reconciliation for module for 10 years and can't imagine going back What do you dislike? "An Accountants Tool"

What do you like best? BlackLine is truly an accountants tool. The manual processes in place are easily replicated and quick to get to automated. What do you dislike? Procurement process was a bit rough as we had to start over and forced down the SAP Solex route. Recommendations to others considering the product: No other reason to look at another tool.
