"Accountant, consolidations and reporting "

What do you like best? All reconciliations and tasks are in one place. What do you dislike? The dashboard doesn't give me an easy view of who has reconciliations outstanding from a preparer and reviewer standpoint. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have more efficient reporting of our reconciliation status than if we did not have a centralized system.

What do you like best? The most helpful parts about the conference have been learning how other companies are using the product. What do you dislike? Data must be standardized before setting up the process and requires consultant to set up. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Account reconciliations are easier and a better review process for Journal Entries

What do you like best? The Blackline product has helped our organization streamline processes and gain visibility we did not have before. What do you dislike? The BlackLine implementation process has increased some of the cycle times for our processes due to duplication of effort. We are optimistic that this is a short-term issue as we begin to take full advantage of the functionality. Recommendations to others considering the product: Don't be afraid to go big. What do you like best? Visibility - Tracking where everything is with the recs. What do you dislike? Initial set-up can take time to build/test. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Account rec accuracy and completeness

"Blackline"

What do you like best? Blackline does a great job streamlining manual processes and presenting data in a standard easy-to-view way. A lot of the modules are pretty intuitive and add a lot of value. An example would be the prepaid template.It allows prepaid schedules to be set up and automatically reflect amortizations. This leads to autocertification What do you dislike? One big downside for us is the fact that we are on a 4-4-5 fiscal calendar rather than a traditional month calendar. For ...

What do you like best? BlackLine provides the ultimate visibility and is very user friendly. What do you dislike? BlackLine does not allow reporting manipulation. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Mitigating risk of invalid account recs.

What do you like best? The automation ease of reconciliations, and the ability to track data What do you dislike? Lack of Oracle Integrations. There needs to be more ability to work alongside oracle. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Matching tool is a big benefit.
