"2nd Day of Blackline"

What do you like best? Today was the 2nd day of end user training for Blackline's reconciliation program. Something I really liked about it is the freedom and ability to upload any excel file to list what makes up a balance. I feel like this is a very useful tool and we will now have some consistency with how we report things on our reconciliations. What do you dislike? "The most useful, helpful, reliable and versatile tool including multiple options"

What do you like best? The thing which I like most about it is its extremely easy to use functionality and friendly interface. The most impressive thing about it is that it helps me a lot in storing all my reconciliations at a single place that can be further accessible anywhere anytime. What do you like best? Centralized respository; global rules; approval workflow; visibility; accessibility What do you dislike? some features are not modifiable such as face of rec cannot be modified to add additional reference fields What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Visibility to correct recs that were previously roll forwards. Found users are still attaching Excel spreadsheets; opportunity to utilize BL templates; submitting recs by due dates

"Reliable and multiple options"

What do you like best? I really like how user firendly the system is. We never experienced any falls or problems with the software, The support team is always reponsive within minutes. System is very reliable. In my company we manily use the Account and Task Module. That has saved us time in terms of avoiding calls/time with Internal and External Audit teams, as we use BlackLine as a Repository. We do not use the Journal Function so much, but I totally recomend this system to any company. I ...

"Great tool!"

What do you like best? The tool has made the reconciliation process much easier and quicker. No more paper and excel forms. Blackline is extremely easy to work with and allows to reconcile the balances in much faster and more transparent way. There is also a great task application and variance analysis tool. "Excellent Products to accelerate your close process."

What do you like best? We started using Blackline in 2009 and we went from using Excel spreadsheet to Blackline the amount of time that we save using BlackLine is so great. We using Task management as well as Transaction matching. The efficiency that is creates is wonderful. I highly recommend this product for all aspects of the close. What do you dislike? "Superior tool"

What do you like best? Full visibility and tracking, approval workflows easily manageable, supporting documents easy to attach and review. Auto-reconciliation is robust and can be trusted. What do you dislike? Sometimes slow performance when downloading attachments. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Better visibility to balance sheet items means reduced risk.

What do you like best? How solid the system is. When users come to me with an issue, 999 times pout of 1000 it is an issue with our internal IT and not BlackLine What do you dislike? When implementing the matching tool I find that alot of the time we are pushed to try and use the implementation team at a cost. I feel that BlackLine should encourage companies to implement their own process and work with them to do so free of charge. This will make companies more dependent on the system, and ...

What do you like best? Blackline is a very practical tool, and it has a lot of option on how to present the reconciliations in a clean way and understandable for every one. What do you dislike? It is a shame that the dashboard can't be customized, but even do it shows good data. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Quality, completeness and timeliness of the account reconciliations.

What do you like best? Journal processes and the audit trail it leaves. What do you dislike? For some users in other countries, there are some changes that get rolled out which are not as intuitive as they may be.
