A valuable tool that helps us make crucial business decisions
PROS: Bitly provides a fully functional account for free. Of course you can opt to pay for an upgrade, but in my personal experience, the free account works just as well for our needs. It provides real time metrics that provides us the stats of links clicked, which has been very useful. They even have an API in several languages. And if you are a web developer, you will have a lot of fun since you will be able to measure custom events.

A fully functional tool that does a lot for a free account
PROS: I really like the fact that bitly free accounts are fully functional, and that is one of the most important aspects of it. I've been using it for years to shorten and track my links, especially in the music business where you need to have easy to remember short links to create effective campaigns. The daily metrics and stats provided real time by the tool are awesome to have as well.

What do you like best about Bitly? there is nothing complicated about the platform. I like that you can see a history of past URLs and how often they're used

"Bitly is the number one link shortener with analytics"
What do you like best about Bitly? The best thing I like about bitly is the free version has everything you will ever need in order to shorten links and make them custom and way better looking than a bunch of random numbers and letters scribbled on looking like a cat ran over your keyboard. There are tons of analytics and insights for when you want to track your link clicks and as far as I know you get unlimited and I would say customizable backlinks for free.

A great and easy to use tool that has been vital in my work
PROS: Bitly is great and easy to use. It's free and it does the job of shortening links quite well. In addition, the dashboard is great and it allows you to see how many people click on the link you shared, which is a very hand feature. CONS: The only thing I do not like is that when it counts the number of clicks to a link, it includes links from other posts unless you create a new link.

"Long-Time User, and Highly Recommend"
What do you like best about Bitly? I have used Bitly for well over a decade, and recommended it to many peers and clients. It's such an easy way to create and track shortened URLs. It's terrific to look at clicks in a glance. I don't think it's as comprehensive as Google Analytics, but GA is so much harder to navigate and use, in my opinion.
