I love Big Commerce. Highly recommend them.

I have been with BC for 12 years. I have 7 different stores running in 3 countries and I think BC are the best. I have always been able to get through to tech support. Admittedly on the odd occasion I knew more than the tech did but I have also taught myself a lot about BC. I am seriously wondering if these negative reviews are legit because I would not use any other platform and i often recommend BC. Maybe there might be something wrong with the end users rather than BIG commerce?

Big Commerce is Years Behind the Competition

Coming from Shopify and Wix, BigCommerce is terribly dated and just not thought out well. Perhaps it’s a robust platform for users ready to dive into the code but simple things like the footer or newsletter text require coding and also recoding after updates. The more we used it the more we hated it. We would sit in on the “big” announcements baffled at all the dates features being announced and how poorly implemented they are.

Surprised with such poor reviews

I’ve been using BC for 5 years now with my online site managed through an agency highly knowledgable of the platform. We previously used Magento. I have found it very good. To get the best out of it you really need to be quite technical in approach and it can be restrictive however it has to be as you are buying a managed platform. Unbelievable. I highly advise never working with these crooks. Where do I even begin? They slowly steadily increased pricing with no fair warning unless you call less than 24 hours on a weekend (which means billing won't reply) fair warning. The front end of their site did not let us know anything about the price hike. We had been with them for over 8 years. Taking long time to reslove serius issues.

I'm bigcommerce customer since they start a business. Now facing very serious TAX Calculation issue on the store that affecting our business a lot, we lost almost $10,000.00AUD but they don't care and saying that tier 2 agent need to check and resolve and it takes 24hr to 3days. that means we have to lose another $10,000AUD during that waiting time. I never ever faced this issue before. Big Comm services getting poor and poor.

Bigcommerce have many issue
