Ordered from a BigCommerce store on Dec 14th, a car lift. Got emails with a tracking number, all seemed well. The tracking was a false number. Email address on the order was info at leavesslave.top. They ripped me off, never got what I ordered. This should be labeled a scam site!!! NEVER order off Facebook!!! Complete theifs, and no way to contact customer support!!

Great platform with lots of complimentary apps

What do you like best? It is user-friendly, covers most of the bases, has a lot of resources/guides to learn from, overs live chat support to troubleshoot, amazing customer service, and more. What do you dislike? For the multi currency option, the customer needs to first select their currency before adding items to cart. Does not integrate well with Square

At first BC was great. Pretty user friendly and they have good support.However when I tried to integrate Square with it there have been multiple problems. I use Square in my store and I have had multiple problems with inventory tracking. When I sell products in my store the inventory has not been changing online. It has been a huge headache! Customer support processes not suited…

Customer support processes not suited for bugfixing of such critical service, support tickets are frequently not fully read, platform unstable with frequent problems, I could go on and on. Store Breaking issues go for 96 hours unfixed. My experience with this company was terrible. Overall it's an operation wise terribly managed business with an OK product on good days and a not working product on bad days.

I switch to Shopify, we'll see how that is

Although I wouldn't say bigcommerce is 1 star bad it was bad enough for me to just switch providers altogether so that makes it 1 star. Bigcommerce themes are BASIC. They are very limited in features and they are expensive and their support teams are not great, you speak with reps and not coders so they cannot really help you. You can barely do any customizations without coding which is not helpful at all. I am switching to Shopify.

I cant recommend BigCommerce

I cant recommend BigCommerce. I have had a store with them for several years. 4 months ago I switched to another platform and contacted them to cancel the subscription.They told me it was cancelled yet I have been charged for 3 months straight since then. I think this company is hosting several…

I think this company is hosting several scam accounts that post products on Facebook. I stupidly thought FB had some way to verify businesses. They don't. I spent $270 on one of the "stores" here. Too good to be true? Yep. My Dad was right then, and now. I should have known better. Don't feel bad if it happened to you too. The ads, website, products and follow up emails are very believeable. And, I am sorry for the hassle these horrid people caused you.

Great for beginners

Bigcommerce is an excellent platform to launch your first store. They have all the selling tools needed to succeed. Their customer service is outstanding.When you grow, however, you need additional tools and apps that are limited or not easily available. They seem to be a bit slow at improving or updating features needed for today's eCommerce demands. Overall, it is a great platform to start an online business.
