Disappointing and now downright rude

Disappointing and now downright rude We've used this platform for a few years, we get pennies here and there but its not really worth the time. Now they put in a 2factor authentication, it doesnt work. I reached out to support. They have done nothing but waste my time and not fixed it. If we don't set it up, they will bump us from the platform so looks like we are done because they can't have functional upgrades.

I use this company at my workplace and they're awesome.

I've used this company at my workplace for sending donations to charities in Canada and even throughout the world. I've made many donations over the years and they always get to where they need to. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time but it always gets there, usually within a month or two at most. While this may seem like a lot of time, Benevity is ensuring the funds go to legitimate causes and they are also pooling donations monies from other companies to make the payments to charities ...

I wish I could give this company a zero…

I wish I could give this company a zero star. Worst customer service EVER!! Our organization's profile on Benevity was somehow managed by someone completely unrelated. When I reached out to Benevity to try and correct the mistake they kept passing the buck. Unhelpful and absolutely impossible to get on a phone call-try calling their customer service -impossible to hear anything. Why are big companies using this to initiate a company match? Benevity doesn't care even when i told them ...

Stealing Donation

Benevity is NOT disbursing donations made to our organization. They do not respond to emails and you cannot speak to someone on the phone. Our non-profit, 501c3 is owed thousands of dollars that Benevity has stolen.

Benevity' Shoddy Reporting Practices

Benevity consistently releases donations before they upload a donation report. It can take days to learn the donor's information, and more often than not, the donation(s) were made the previous month. That in itself is annoying enough, but often times they'll ACH the donation into an organization's checking account on the last business day of the month, thereby disrupting closing out that month's books because the donation report is multiple business days away from being uploaded. Though ...

Questionable service

We've been getting lots of delays in disbursement of funds and it feels a bit shady. Their promised ETA is 2 months, which is already long, but charities have been receiving funds after 3 whole months, and it's impossible to track exact fund arrival date. Their lack of transparency on delay reasons makes me question their legitimacy

Lack of efficiency on Benevity

Set up our charity on Benevity as a supportive corporate donor asked us to. States they are the global leader in workplace giving. Seems they are not the global leader in efficiency as still waiting for the electronic processing to be setup over 6 weeks later. Having read other reviews I’m concerned about the lack of efficiency in general and will delete the charity’s profile.

Impossible to reset a password

Impossible to reset a password - after 4 tries - I give up. Unfortunate for organizations who leverage the application for employee participation events. Employees end up giving up on trying to enroll in anything. Negative impact for Employees..

Benevity steals money from nonprofits. Period.

Benevity steal money from nonprofits. The donor feels like they donated to charity through the Big Companies. The big Companies send the donor an email saying they are good people. Benevity takes the money. The Charity gets none of the money, nor any way to prove it unless they know exactly who gave it to them and when. Computer answering machines and no way to talk to anyone. They only care what the big company says not what the charities say. So I think we should direct our complaint to ...

I have been trying to reach them since 2 months and they are never answering any of my e-mails. Worst service ever.
