Basecamp is a great collaboration tool
What do you like best? The user interface is extremely simple and easy to navigate. My company uses Basecamp to collaborate with a video production company. Using Basecamp makes it trivial to send notes, files, images, and project updates with everyone included in the project. Everything works as it should an dI have no complaints. What do you dislike? There is honestly nothing I dislike about Basecamp. Their website/service is simple and straight forward and just works as it should. ...

Thank You For Being My Friend - http://youtu.be/Jzrq52qaXZI
What do you like best? The ease of use, especially the calendar. I enjoy being able to see all my projects and to-do's in a simple and accessible interface. Basecamp has the best calendar interface I have ever used, and I am a project manager so I have come across a few. What do you dislike? The progress timeline is hard to understand. I wish there they would illustrate project progress in a more efficient manner. having to scroll down to see what your team has achieved is only ...

The new Basecamp rocks
What do you like best? This new update to Basecamp completely converted me. I used the old version a few years back and it was just far to simple. Somehow, the new version is actually more simple, but more effective. They pulled off something magical. Log in, get work done, get out. Perfectly simple. Awesome Email-to-Project feature too. What do you dislike? They need a few more features in their calendar department. Recommendations to others considering the product If you work with ...

Good collaboration tool for small or simple projects but makes larger products more difficult.
What do you like best? Easy to get started and understand. Keeps people on the team in the loop. What do you dislike? There is no central file management, which makes it next to impossible to organize lots of files and revisions. If you've been cc'd on a lot of discussions, it's very difficult to find the discussions that were directed at you. For me at least, there was too much noise which made it hard to keep track of what was really going on. Recommendations to others considering ...

The best collaberative tool I've ever used
What do you like best? I like that basecamp keeps all of your project information in one place. This greatly streamlines the process when you're looking for something. What do you dislike? The new version of basecamp doesn't allow for your old project information to be imported. This requires you to run side by side systems for a long time until you can fully migrate. Even then however, if you're looking for old information, you'll have to remember to look in the older version of the ...

Longtime user jumping ship
What do you like best? It used to be the interface. What do you dislike? Things haven't evolved over the last couple years and now there are other options out there for managing projects and tracking time. Recommendations to others considering the product We use Asana for project tasks and Freshbooks for out time tracking.

My favorite project management tool on the web.
What do you like best? 37Signals is a great company, and Basecamp is their crowning achievement. This tool is great for managing projects both big and small--especially if the project requires participation from multiple companies or organizations. Perhaps my favorite feature of Basecamp is that it plays nicely with Microsoft Outlook, which some people still insist on using for some reason. I don't log into my Basecamp every day, but I don't have to: I get updates and messages ...

A great resource for agencies and even more so for their clients
What do you like best? We used Basecamp as a means to track various web design projects. The interface is top notch and extremely clean (thanks 37Signals. The extensions are nice. It was a great way for us to centralize feedback and get approvals. What do you dislike? I liked pretty much everything. It would have been nice to upload new iterations of documents and review the changes only Recommendations to others considering the product Get buy-in from all users. One thing we have a ...

Easy, simple, document collaboration, but not very sophisticated
What do you like best? Don't have to think about it. Extremely easy. What do you dislike? Not sure if this is limited to our service provider's method of usage, but we are not able to easily compare document revisions. Recommendations to others considering the product None
