No-brainer for clients (when they listen) [Note: refers to Basecamp 2]
What do you like best? * Easy to use, especially for clients * Clean UI * Project templates make new project creation quick and easy * Very fast and responsive support What do you dislike? * Some shortcomings in UI, for example, not enough navigation breadcrumbs * File management could be clearer * Would like to switch to Basecamp 3, but price is too high Recommendations to others considering the product Be sure to compare to other products, and note that Basecamp ...

Simple tool with a great solution
What do you like best? I like the ability to collaborate on an infinite number of projects with my coworkers. It keeps us all on the same page and projects running smoothly. Basecamp is what I work out of on a daily basis. What do you dislike? The newer versions are missing features that Basecamp Classic has that we need. (i.e. time tracking & calendar view of all milestones What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use Basecamp for ...

Rock solid team and project management
What do you like best? It keeps project discussions organized, and more importantly, it keeps all of those discussions out of my email inbox. I have it set up to email me when there's been a new message, but I can delete the email since the message is saved within the discussion thread in Basecamp. When I dive in to a project, I only have to look in Basecamp for all of the assets and team discussions to get up to speed instead of digging through tons of emails to figure out what the ...

Easy team and task management in one place
What do you like best? The fact that I can archive projects and refer to them in the future if I need to. I love the fact that we can create client access and team access which eliminates the need to email back and forth, and lose files and information in emails. What do you dislike? The memory limit on the smaller accounts. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Basecamp helps us to effectively manage our teams, content, ideas and ...

Exceptional project management and collaboration software
What do you like best? One of the strongest features of Basecamp is the easy ability to share different projects with different people. Not everyone and their brother needs to get notified about changes on everything happening in a project and it's easy to control that with Basecamp. The To Do list feature keeps us organized and on track. Discussions keep us collaborating. It's exactly what we need to keep our busy marketing team organized. What do you dislike? I wish it had the ...

Easy to use and simple
What do you like best? This is a tool that doesn't require any education and background — just sign up and start using. Very intuitive and easy to use. Very convenient document previews and user management. Easy to pay and expand your plan. Nice, but not perfect mobile app for iOS and Android. What do you dislike? Very limited in features (it is a very beginners version of PM tool, To-do's are not connected to topics, can't tag or categorize topics, can assign a task to more than one ...

Basecamp for project control
What do you like best? Basecamp is a genious project management tool that allows me to stay in control of my projects without being overwhelmed by mails, documents and reports all over the place. Basecamp has a very intuitive interface to create a new project, assign members to the project and follow up on recent activity of the project. I can even invite external people in with limited access and seperate views on project details. What do you dislike? One thing I miss with Basecamp ...

Loyal Basecamp users since the early days of BC1
What do you like best? We use Basecamp with all of our clients, and they rarely ever have a problem adopting it as a communication tool. It speaks a lot to the design of the app that all users, tech-savvy or not, can use the app effectively. What do you dislike? Our current frustration is a good problem. We want to use Basecamp 3 but there is no way to migrate projects from BC2 to BC3 yet. So we're stuck on BC2 while all the cool neat features of BC3 are staring at us waiting for us to ...

Okay tool for collaboration
What do you like best? It is a good tool for collaboration and keeping track of team files What do you dislike? Project set up structures are not intuitive and it can be really hard to find the files that you need. Navigation in general is a challenge. This may just be reflective of how we have set up our structure, but then that means that it is not intuitive to set up in a clean way. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Team ...
