Do Not Use For Video or Images
Very, very bad when it comes to hosting videos and images. When using this platform we had tons of complaints from users when it came to uploaded video's and images buffering. We finally closed our account today when we noticed we kept getting charged even though we no longer used this platform. They also make you jump through hoops, just to delete your account, and customer service will provide you little to know help in getting it done quickly. Frustrating, expensive, and kafkaesque
Like so many others, I trusted some early positive reviews of Backblaze--and then, like everyone else, I discovered later that this was a terrible mistake. When I actually needed to restore my data after my laptop was stolen, it was expensive, frustrating, time-consuming, and kafkaesque. They have two products, backup and storage. This review is about the backup product, I know nothing about their storage one but based on this experience I will never use it.TL;DR: even if you decide to go with them, test if you can actually get ALL your files back during either the trial or the refund period! macOS users stay far away

Difficult to use
Difficult to use, multiple errors during restore attempts that all failed. Given that I was unable to use this, the fact that I paid $110 for a two year license is highway robbery.

Invisible until you need it
What do you like best? Backblaze is like a waiter who never interrupts your meal but is always one step away when you need him. I forget I have Backblaze running, but my backups are kept up-to-date, and I've had no problems with my occasional file restores. What do you dislike? I can't think of any cons for this product What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use Backblaze for offsite backup of the contents of my primary computer.

Do not trust Backblaze with your data. Maybe you'll be like me and pay for their services for 6 years, finally need it when my laptop was stolen, and then have my data deleted after 30 days because said laptop was no longer in my possession.And the Data Restore experience is terrible - incredibly slow download times and multiple crashes. My drive failed, all my data is gone from Backblaze
I have been using Backblaze for more than a year now, i had many problems with backups before, but at the end they always worked out, until yesterday when my drive failed and attempted to download my files, when i logged in all drives were gone altogether, no way to restore, i always made sure i don't cross the 30 day limit (but support is saying i crossed it, even though i didn't get warning emails), yet now i am supposed to upload the still working external hard drive with a 100Kb/s ...

Absolute nightmare of a program
Absolute nightmare of a program, and nobody cares. Backups - straightforward and fairly reliable; customer service - terrible. Same as what lots of other reviews have said. The customer service team must be working in a terrible environment, because they just never seem to have time to pay attention to what you're saying to answer your questions. Typical interaction goes something like: "I have these 3 questions can you help", response: "The answer is no" (to which of the three questions? Why is it 'no'? What can I do instead?)
