My Mini PC I chose to upload my external HD runs for more than a year now, constantly. My upload speed is not the best but this is crazy long, isn't it? A few weeks ago there where just 80 files left and I was ready for party: Buuuut the BB program started to synchronise again and after it was done it said: 12.700 files to go. What? Great cloud storage solution
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? BackBlaze is great product for backing up to a cloud that I currently use to back up image files and SQL Databasles from servers. It has easy interface and it allows me to sync via NAS Synology Rackstation where my local backups reside. It’s great when is set as a task to a backup directly to this cloud. Best Cloud Service for Backup
What do you like best? Unlimited backups, fast uploads. It’s my favorite service for backing up all my drives. What do you dislike? Lack of sharing files, but honestly, that’s not what it’s for anyway. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Backed up every file across all drives for only $6 a month.

Great backup service
What do you like best? Backblaze makes it easy to backup everything What do you dislike? Everything about it is good. I have no complaints. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I needed a way to back up all my data. Now I don’t have to worry about loosing all my files and photos.

I wish I had read these reviews before…
I wish I had read these reviews before I signed up for Backblaze.I uploaded 8tb of files and all went smoothly until I removed the external drives for a few days from the laptop. I then received a message that the external drives were not being backed up because the drives had been given different names. I contacted them and told them I needed exact directions on how to fix the problem. I did not receive such help, and I could foresee this happening each time I removed the external hard ...

Backblaze is worthless if you have infrequently used external drives
I backed up all of my data on my macbook as well as an external drive. About a month later I got an email stating that the data from the external drive would be deleted if I didn't re-connect it within a few days. This is nonsensical. The whole idea of cloud backup is peace of mind, but they're telling me now that if the drive is not "checked-in" every 30 days they won't retain the data. So now I have to connect my drive even when I'm not using it just to make sure my backed up data isn't ...

Stay away. No option to back up only external harddrives, Backblaze starts chewing and uploading all files on your computer and there is not option do deselect your computer. I rapidly cancelled my agreement to Backblaze and uninstalled the program, but too late. I use Dropbox as my main backup of all computer files. Dropbox now has started syncing all files (20K+ files all over again. It seems that Backblaze has been modifying important Dropbox-files and that all Dropbox-files will have to ...

More than just a backup solution, it's a lifesaver!
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? The available storage is unlimited. The backed-up files can be accessed with so much ease. When a drive hasn’t been backed up in a certain number of days, the tool notifies me. But the best thing about using this tool, it will save your life. Poor customer service
Poor customer service. It seems that they never read the entire ticket. Currently the Backup now button does start the backup process. How difficult is that to program?The problem with Cloud backup is that you do not what sort of cloud...rain, fog, or a poof of smoke!
