Active directory

What do you like best? It is very handy to have all of our security managed in a centralized way that makes it easy to the user. As a user I don't need to worry about authentication, but focus on developing areas that add more value. It allows me to move between application with ease without multiple sign ons. Managing privileges and policies is fairly easy and straightforward. What do you dislike? It is not flexible or customizable for specific needs. It only manages ...

Great token for the security and user profiles in the Microsoft environment

What do you like best? Microsoft Azure Active Directory has enabled and secured our applications. The user profiles can be synced here and even from active directory. The Azure Active Directory is multi tenant supported which is best part I liked about this service. It is an Identity as a service which maintains the profiles and data credentials of the users. SSPR is one great tool where in we enable password reset portal for our tenant. What do you dislike? User Interface can be ...

Microsoft Azure surrounds almost every possible domain used in business and technology management.

What do you like best? This is cloud based center that leads us to several leading ways that are needed in framework for industrial as well as computer networking. Before when such applications came, a person wanting to develop a certain application needed investments for buying different servers for storing data and guarding it along with specified network that can work solely for this application. But now a person can gain more profits with small upfront fee by only getting Microsoft ...

Integrates well with on premise AD

What do you like best? Integration with on premise AD. Syncing accounts, passwords, groups, etc.. What do you dislike? Largest complaint would be the overabundance of options. It would be nice to be able to disable features from view to make a more streamlined interface. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Benefits: Federated authentication with other services, Apple, Adobe, etc.. Problems: None really

The future of AD

What do you like best? Easy to use, easy to configure, very easy to manage What do you dislike? if you need CLI (e.q. powershell), it is a bit more difficult, but for someone with technical skills shouldn't be an issue Recommendations to others considering the product: The future of AD What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are using a hybrid environment with AAD and on-premise AD

Just like your on prem, but better

What do you like best? I like that most of the backward compatibility things are still present and that once you know the basics of AD from the old time, your transition into the cloud is greatly simplified. Although having packaged software, can induce cost - it is actually preemptive protection based, and very good. What do you dislike? I don't like packaged software and license deals, but with great flexibility comes great packaging. That could be better. Concerns about software ...
