The best prototyping tool for a UX Designer
What do you like best? Rapid prototyping is Axure key strength. The interface is intuitive, has library of widgets that can be dragged and dropped onto the canvas and can create highly complex interactions for web and mobile interactions. The learn curve is abit steep when you start using repeaters, variables and mathematical logic expressions. What do you dislike? Its collaboration and version control could be better and has room for improvement. Designers cannot collaborate on ...

A valuable tool that's fun to use
What do you like best? As a UX designer - I get a lot of inspiration from the experience of using the tool. It's very cleverly designed. What do you dislike? It has a fairly steep learning curve. I think the ideal user of Axure is someone with some coding experience. There are a fair share of debugging moments that come up where you need to ask yourself "Why is it behaving like this? What am I actually telling Axure to do?" Recommendations to others considering the product: ...

Very nice but kind of a high learning curve
What do you like best? Easy to share wireframes even with people who do not have the software. What do you dislike? The price tag is pretty steep and it does take a while to understand exactly how to use the tool. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am a front end developer using Axure to Wireframe our UI for critiques before spending so much time on code.

Great tool to create a wireframe and page navigations
What do you like best? It is very helpful tool to design wire frame or UI and UI flow before development of the project. Doing this it help a lot to get sign off on the requirement and also ensure the quality post development. What do you dislike? Though it is good and easy to use it but it can be more user friendly by giving some hint or by providing some tutorials What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I have designed a wireframe ...

Great for wireframing if you can handle a learning curve
What do you like best? Axure is a powerful tool, no doubt. Amazing icon and shape library, as well as customizable everything- its great for web frames. What do you dislike? While I do enjoy axure, it's extremely complicated and hard to grasp at first. There's no option to set artboards by device like on other softwares which makes wireframing extremely hit or miss, learning how to do interactions is a pain and you mostly have to figure it out by failure. What problems are you ...

Axure RP - Good tool for UX prototyping
What do you like best? Axure RP is a good software for creating UX prototypes. It has many drag and drop features which makes the software easy to use for UX designers. It has good documentation in their website. THere are also many tutorials on youtube on how to work with Axure, making Axure RP easy to learn even for beginners What do you dislike? There are not many tools available for drawing customized shapes and curves, most of it is drag and drop. I dont know how to make shapes ...

Old but good
What do you like best? That's an awesome tool for desktop UI prototyping, where you mostly concentrate on workflows and gradual disclosure of data rather than on micro-interactions. Best-in-class abilities to script quite complex scenarios. What do you dislike? Still quite hard to use properly for designers without coding background. Don't suite well for mobile prototyping with not many screens but complex tiny interactions and animations (Principle is much better for that). ...

Una herramienta muy potente para crear prototipos, arquitecturas de información, interacciones, etc.
What do you like best? La facilidad con la que se pueden crear interacciones que de otro modo, se necesitaría poder programar. Así y todo, hay aún mucho por esperar del crecimiento brutal que ha tenido desde sus comienzos. What do you dislike? Algunas interacciones con variables, las repeticiones...siguen siendo complicadas de usar. Recommendations to others considering the product: Pruébalo una, dos, tres veces... si te parece demasiado o muy compleja, no te dejes vencer por ...

Great for prototyping power users, but with an outdated interface
What do you like best? Axure provides the most in depth feature set for any prototyping tool that I have ever used as an UX designer. You can use real data, store values and use real scripting language to make your prototype impressively high fidelity. I once needed to create a prototype that enabled me to control a smart lightning bulb in real time and Axure made me able to do this using webhooks, impressive stuff! What do you dislike? The interface feels really outdated, it's ...

This is the swiss army knife of prototyping software
What do you like best? If you can dream it you can build it in Axure. This is a robust tool that allows for the creation of high fidelity prototypes that are great for the final stages of usability testing. What do you dislike? It can have a pretty steep learning curve, especially if you are trying to do some of the more complex interactions. Recommendations to others considering the product: Be ready to dig into the videos and tutorials to get the full power of this ...
