Must have for coders

What do you like best? Easy click-to-copy CSS code for quick dev, easy assets export. You can open Avocode in browser, so it makes it very portable. What do you dislike? When Avocode launches, you have to manually open all tabs again What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy assets export, quick prototyping of new features. Also Avocode is great bridge between graphic designer (osX + sketch) and coder (win10). Also Avocode solves ...

Avocode gave us an all in one tool for our designers

What do you like best? In the past we had developers placing requests for assets, the designer would then export these 1 by 1 and inform the developer. Now one of the features we use the most is being able to let the developer export all assets individually without a designers. What do you dislike? We did not find any downsides. We had to switch our way of working a little but that was only for the better. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are ...

Great tool for designers and developers

What do you like best? We've totally migrated all our projects from Z***in and working with Avocode only. Shortly, good thing is that our developers are available to upload files, not only designers, as it was with Z***in. And its more faster. What do you dislike? All good at this stage. Nobody's perfect, so I think that these guys will definitely find a place for improvements. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? All good at ...

Good application

What do you like best? I can upload layouts directly for layout, and not install any plug-ins, and also do not have Photoshop or Sketch What do you dislike? The program sometimes takes a long time to process already parsed styles What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use this program for the layout of web interfaces. It allows you to do it faster and more convenient than in Photoshop, Sketch or Illustrator.

Design troublesolver

What do you like best? With just one app, you could easily open three different image formats, which are, in some cases, bind to the operating system. That's a great time & money saving hack for front-end developers who open the design and then use the measures, colors, etc. What do you dislike? There are few things which are not solved yet, for example, REM units size - in the app, there is just one REM = x 1px setting, but in reality, you might want to set it up per project or ...

Avocode review

What do you like best? When it works, it works well. There are better solutions out there. What do you dislike? A couple of things, for my particular workflow, we would have to share links individually per sketch artboard. It would have been nice to be able to share a group of public links. Pricing, everyone on the platform has to have a paid seat, we found an alternate software that does the same and more and only contributors have to pay so we switched saving us a ton of money. ...

Helpful tool, that need to be more effective

What do you like best? The simplified working process of designers and developers. Also, a good tool for management to approve ideas. What do you dislike? Bugs with Sketch export to Avocode: components are reflected inaccurately. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Moving prototypes from designer to developers. Response from Matouš Roskovec of Avocode edit Hello, thank you for your feedback. Please let us know more about ...

Useful for Providing Deliverables to Devs

What do you like best? I like how compatible the program is with Adobe XD, a wireframing program that is not as complete as the more industry standard ones. What do you dislike? I dislike how it is not possible to acquire HTML/PHP code from the wireframes. Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider other softwares if you're using programs like Sketch or Photoshop for wireframes, something like Invision will yield better results. What problems are you ...

A helpful tool for designer handoff

What do you like best? Avocode helps bridge the gap between the designer and the front-end developer. The biggest plus is the CSS generation and the cloud based design file organization . What do you dislike? We were early adopters of Avocode. AT the time we were primarily using sketch and avocode worked really well for the team. However, with significant sketch updates, Avocode started having bugs . We had to find various work arounds and tertiary plugins to help Avocode. ...
