BIM 360

What do you like best? BIM 360 has been a great software that we have converted to due to the impacts of the Global Pandemic. It has allowed our company to work off the vpn and continue to be efficient and meet our deliverable while working remotely. The biggest upside to working with this software is the fact you only need an internet connection to use it. The transition to the software was also very seamless. Setting up projects and sub-folders is very similar to how our company was ...

Intuitive and easy to use. Functions very well for the purposes we use it for.

What do you like best? The functionality and interface between the drawings, submittals and RFIs. What do you dislike? It would be nice to set custom fields for individual issue types in Field as opposed to it being applied to all types. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ease of posting RFIs to the drawings straight from the Project Management module saves time and energy spent posting them other ways.

Would never go back to paper.

What do you like best? I love that I have the prints at me finger tips. I can study from anywhere. And having the model is so helpful. What do you dislike? The scale function needs some work. I don’t know if it’s just set up on this job wrong or what. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Layout issues, and getting punch lists right from the architect with pictures.

I would like to see more training on BIM 360 we have many colleagues that are not using it to its full potential. Introduce VR and AR capabilities that will connect to are point layout. I would like to see the a clashs tracking and RFI ...

almost always using BIM360 in our projects

What do you like best? We use BIM360 on almost all projects, without having to be connected to vpn, project manager are able to see the Revit models and sheets without Revit installed. UI is simple enough to get people quickly on board. What do you dislike? The markup tools are weak and not rich enough We cannot set a status to markup or assign the markup to people (only issues) BIM360 coordination as well is not as developped as Navisworks. Recommendations to others ...

Taking it all to the cloud with BIM 360

What do you like best? The flexibility of being able to collaborating anywhere with the data is on the cloud (BIM 360). I can access my data or my Revit where I have internet connection. This is advantage of working from anywhere outside of the office situation. I can be at client office, a cafe or home working on my project. What do you dislike? The console interface could be confusing to a lot of new users who are not familiar with the platform or how to navigate through all these ...
