At first there were many bugs. After awhile they were worked out and the system worked very well.

What do you like best? I love the collaborative environment the most. The collaborative environment allowed non-revit users to review our work, comment and withdraw data from the model. What do you dislike? I disliked the fact that in the design collaboration tool, the architectural background would not show up on the MEP 2D documents. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ability to comment, to see other consultants work/drawings, ...

Great for work shared models, not much else

What do you like best? Pretty simple setup of a work shared Revit model. I’ve tried various other workarounds without success (dropbox) but BIM 360 has pretty reliable hosting and few problems. It works remotely just as quickly as if you were on the same server. What do you dislike? Everything else. I don’t want to upload or share any other non-Revit files or have my construction process managed. BIam360 should do one thing - host my shared Revit file with team members - and leave ...

BIM360 does everything it is supposed to while being innovative

What do you like best? How it neatly organizes all of my drawings What do you dislike? Nothing really. I guess publishing drawings could take less time. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you use any Autodesk Software, use BIM360. They work seamlessly together. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Keeps our projects organized. Easy to discuss drawings within the team knowing all the references are easy to pull ...

BIM 360 make collaboration simpler.

What do you like best? Having the ability to access a model from any location makes coordinating between multiple offices more efficient. My company is looking into using BIM 360 as a solution to our resource sharing between multiple offices. We can avoid the need for multiple remote computers based on which server a project is hosted on. What do you dislike? Not being to control linked model updates unless the models are managed through Design Collaboration. Recommendations to ...

New but easy to use

What do you like best? I like the ability to stay updated across all disciplines as well as having a centralized model within our own office. What do you dislike? Having to wait for approval for access to the model and synchronizing can take a bit longer than a standard inter office model. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Not having to relink or upload new models, makes things real time and seamless.

Great for model collaboration

What do you like best? BIM 360 is great when multiple trades are working on the same project. It allows the different trades to see what others are doing in real time. We also like that all models are date stamped so we can tell when something was changed. This helps greatly when contractors start to point fingers. I also like that the model is located on the cloud and I do not have to have excess files saved on my local computer as the Revit and Navisworks files can get rather large ...

Great Program

What do you like best? I like how everything is seen and can be used in design as well as in the field. What do you dislike? It is a little difficult to move around in the model when using on a laptop. Using on a tablet is much easier. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I like that we can resolve clashes before we send material out into the field. It benefits us in cutting down on install hours.
