A powerful team collaboration platform for software development

What do you like best? Assembla is an excellent platform to maintain version control of each project that we carry out in the organization. What I like most is that it is very simple to use, enough for anyone to import or export projects to the repositories. I really like to have a ticket section to report bugs to my colleagues. Assembla includes SecureGit, which has high security standards. What do you dislike? The documentation to configure Assembla can be exhaustive. I believe ...

Assembla: An Engine of any Development/Testing

What do you like best? I have been working in Assembla for more than 3 years and it is making my life of Testing easier day by day with a lot of clarity. It is acting as a bridge between any Developer & Tester to solve Bugs faster in no time without any hassle of asking again in person. What do you dislike? Some times I feel more options may lead to confusing which one to use and which one to not. It is a little clumsy in some places. Need some better User interface (UI) to attract ...

Amazing

What do you like best? The Assembla is better compared to the system we usually used. SVN Function in the Assembla is practical, appropriate, handy, convenient and helpful as a developer like me. And I like the most functionality in the Assembla is the Commit in the SVN, it shows the latest checked-in code of my co-worker and it is my easily to tracked the changes in the codes. Thanks to the Assembla SVN Functionality. The second functionality I like the most in the Assembla is we can ...

One of the best ticketing and bug tracking solutions

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I like that i can easily navigate the system and keep track of old tickets. I’m using it to report bug to R&D and to track status and interaction with R&D, it allows me to keep good information flow. I can customize the notifications and to stay on top of the issues and it sends me alerts if a ticket waits for response. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Sometimes when it comes to filtering the KanBAn can be ...

A great platform for managing communication for teams

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Assembla facilitates faster communication for team members on the same platform and breaks down communication barrier. Having live demos while testing a code is made easier and everyone can air their views and opinions on the demos. Everyone across the board, i.e. managers, developers, customers is able to use it effortlessly. What aspects are problematic or could work better? There are a couple of disadvantages. First, it is a ...

Simple and easy to follow bugs and data

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? First of all, I like the visual aspect of Assembla. With this system everything is easy even following of Scum processes or tracking the progress. I like the email notifications about ticket updates because are highly helpful and the good thing is that if you find those alerts annoying you can always tun them off. What aspects are problematic or could work better? I really like the flexibility of Assembla but I wish they could ...

Assembla great for Agile teams Product Owners and ScrumMasters

What do you like best? Assembla is simple and fast (very responsive) when using it to create or assign tasks. It is intuitive and easy to learn for new users. User Management section is a bit confusing at first, but once you play around and understand it, its simple. There are some project management features like time tracking which you can use if you wish and have the need for "reports". It is fast and easy to prioritize and assign tasks with your team and easy to setup your own ...

Nice service that keeps developing

What do you like best? It has everything you need for a development team these days. What do you dislike? It is somewhat cluttered to my taste. The look & feel is technical style of 90s - small fonts, screens packed with secondary details. Recommendations to others considering the product: Give it a try. It has all the features a modern team may need and the service obviously keeps improving and developing. I have started to use Assembla 8 or 9 years ago, and I clearly see ...
