Assembla great for Agile teams Product Owners and ScrumMasters

What do you like best? Assembla is simple and fast (very responsive) when using it to create or assign tasks. It is intuitive and easy to learn for new users. User Management section is a bit confusing at first, but once you play around and understand it, its simple. There are some project management features like time tracking which you can use if you wish and have the need for "reports". It is fast and easy to prioritize and assign tasks with your team and easy to setup your own ...

Best Task Management Tool

What do you like best? Tasks are easy to create and assign. Time is easy to track. Assembla is a less frustrating tool to work with compared to similar products. I've recommended Assembla for small teams of 2 people, to larger teams upward of 20. I'm sure it scales well for even bigger teams. There are many tools that connect well together, like referencing tickets in your messages. It makes it easy to organize the entire space. What do you dislike? The cost is approaching the ...

Great for Project Management!

What do you like best? The ticket reports for specific Milestones of a project are great for communicating to customers where you are on a project. I also love that I can customize the ticket reports any way needed for the best communication to each individual customer. What do you dislike? When I have developers working on multiple projects at the same time, it is sometimes difficult to get a feel for exactly what they are working on each week cross-projects. What problems are ...

Very Satisfied User

What do you like best? We use Assembla for our projects and we appreciate the fact that each new team member can start use it immediately. We like the possibility to integrate it with other tolls and the ability to extend the data model easily. Assembla is also Reliable. We do not recall any significant downtime, sure there were some issues but it was typically resolved within an hour. It does work as a method by which to manage the software development, a repository (SVN or GIT) is ...

A perfect history track

What do you like best? You can track the whole history of an issue What do you dislike? It is not always possible to search ticket number. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Take under control the project evolution with specific information about the progressive effort of an activity for each area. Assembla allows to relate children ticket to father one and this really helps.

I was just thrown into a project on Assembla

What do you like best? And having it all in there helped me a lot to get going quickly, while also being able to share the same platform with our customers and teammates. They specially seem to be very happy with it, they're the ones creating tickets and updating the wiki which is really nice for a distributed team. What do you dislike? I'm still now learning about some features Assembla has, despite being using it for a few months already. So although I'm all for minimalist ...
