"Easy switch from Revit"

What do you like best about Archicad? The bim commands are relatively easy to learn and the ARchiCAD tutorials online are helpful. What do you dislike about Archicad? The tool bars setup and grouped, especially the items needed for scheduling. What problems is Archicad solving and how is that benefiting you? Drawing in 3d and ensuring that the bim model is setup correctly and all the background information is setup and creating templates.

"ArchiCAD is relatively intuitive to use for architectural drafting and modeling."

What do you like best about Archicad? I most enjoy the intuitive interface for drawing/ creating drawings. It's incredibly helpful to complete multiple drawings at the same time. Interface is easier to learn than Revit. What do you dislike about Archicad? The most challenging element to draw is the fireplace. What do you like best about Archicad? Documentation and integration of the model with the documentation through sections, elevations, floor plans, and details. I worked with AutoCAD before, and ArchiCAD blows it away. What do you dislike about Archicad? The modeling part of ArchiCAD is lovely, and I love to be able to modify the library parts with their GSM language. What do you like best about Archicad? Archicad is very fluid to use and allows quick design due to its lack of roadblocks and restricting programming. What do you dislike about Archicad? Archicad can be limited in its ability to customize very detailed items. Its system of editing objects is difficult to use and add-ons only help so much. What problems is Archicad solving and how is that benefiting you? Archicad helps with takeoffs, conceptual renderings, and coordination between disciplines.

What do you like best about Archicad? The nice thing about ArchiCAD has always been its ability to create 3D models that effectively communicate design concepts to your clients. "Great BIM software that makes documenting a project nice and easy."

What do you like best about Archicad? Automation of drawings from 3D model. Lots of information can be kept in the model. What do you dislike about Archicad? Free-form modeling is lacking. Not an ideal software to work through conceptual ideas. What problems is Archicad solving and how is that benefiting you? Having a 3D model and 2D drawings all in one place. When I make a change to the 3D model all drawings change accordingly.
