"Great 3D Design Software!"

What do you like best about Archicad? Archicad is an easy to use software if you are familiar with the 3D BIM concepts. I prefer to use it above other software because it has the tools and objects for Residential and Commercial Design. What do you dislike about Archicad? For me, the 2D drafting tools are what I dislike most. The 2D tools are too slow compared to AutoCAD software. I can finish a complete set of 2D drawings in half the time in AutoCAD than Archicad. "A really good software that allows focus on design while keeping details in mind."

What do you like best about Archicad? Designing in 3D, BIMx integration, Easy Presentation for clients to see their building in advance. What do you dislike about Archicad? Dimension strings are not exact like Revit and you can't adjust element locations using dimension strings like revit. What problems is Archicad solving and how is that benefiting you? Designing in 3D, presentations to clients.

What do you like best about Archicad? We design log and timber homes, and modeling log walls is extremely easy in Archicad. BIMx is also an incredibly powerful and is a very useful tool. What do you dislike about Archicad? The cabinets in Archicad 25 and 26 are frustrating. The knobs relocate EVERYTIME you adjust the size of the cabinets (this did not happen in previous versions). The new options under the "Layers" box are not as easy to use in v26. You used to have "select all" and ...

What do you like best about Archicad? The in built rendering program is of good quality. The ability to model buildings without complex facade or roof forms is easy and quick What do you dislike about Archicad? Not being able to import .obj furniture.
