The free version seems to work very well. I did a test backup and restore of an SDcard and it seemed to work without issues, but I need to also test it with full system backup with incrementals for a full test.

I use two NAS drives and two free backup programs and I find that AOMEI Backupper works better when I need more than just a basic restore. It enables me to drill down to a specific file even in a simple copy mode.

I like the 2 way sync feature which…

I like the 2 way sync feature which besides adding new files to the backup it also deletes files from it as needed. My old program did not so the b/u file kept getting larger & if recovery was need a lot of clean up was needed. I especially like that I can open a single backed up file & read or even copy it without going through the recovery process as I had to do with my previous program.

So far so good!

I use this to back up important files onto another drive every day when I shut down the PC and I haven't had any issues yet. I bought the PRO version when they had a sale so didn't cost that much either. Even if I use google cloud as my primary backup AOMEI Backupper makes the local backups a breeze. I have tried to load files from older backups and it works as intended so will continue using AOMEI as my local backupper.

AOMEI Backupper is an excellent product.

Three years ago when I evaluated about 5-7 Backup products, AOMEI Backupper was well above the others in capabilities / versatility and more is added on over time. I use the Real-time Sync along with traditional backup to maintain several forms of backup to different drives. There are a myriad of tools for cloning and system backup. Customer service was very helpful in upgrading my lifetime 1 user license to the family 5 user version.
