If you don't want your data this place is great

They delete your backup before telling you your plan is expiring. Just lost all my backups. Took over a day to upload my backup in the first place not even using 1% of my upload speed. 1/10 would not recommend.

I used aomei for backup when it was free. Now i can't look at old backups witout paying for it. What a shame. Show me where i write "i can't find old backups". My language is not english, but i'm sure it's easy to understand what i'm saying. In the Aomei menu it says: Explore image PRO, meaning "pay if you wanna explore old backups".

Good Technical Results

I used the product to enable migration from HDDs to retrofitted SSDs in laptops. I had good technical results from this product. I cancelled licences and subscriptions upon completion of the tasks.

Easy backup

The program is very easy to use even for amateurs. I have already used the recovery of my computer and the recovery succeeded without any problem. Great communication and support!

No Cloud back ups. Recovery environment on hdd isn't reliable.

Backing-up and recovering your files goes flawless. However, this program uses a lot of RAM which makes my Windows 11 system (AMD Ryzen 7 with 16GB RAM) very slow. It takes many hours to make incremental backups of about 500GB. The program can create a recovery environment on your Windows partition. Hence, before Windows starts this recovery environment might restore your Windows partition and other partition. Unfortunately, if the Windows partition is broken due to a virus attack or error ...

Very Restrictive licensing

I purchased Backupper because I wanted to upgrade (clone) the drives in my PC and laptop. I do about 1 HDD upgrade every 3yrs or so, so not a big user. Frustratingly, I discovered the license only works on 1 device. After cloning my PC drive successfully, I had a nightmare of a time trying to upgrade my laptop drive. First, the software wouldn't register on laptop. Then I plugged laptop drive and replacement laptop drive in PC (was a real pain) and the clone didn't work properly, all the ...

Backupper Server Version very poor.

The Backupper Server version does not allow you to backup or sync to a remote NAS located on a different LAN even with a VPN or public IP. So no offsite backups possible. Severe lack of verbosity in the progress of the backup. Very slow differential backup over LAN.
