Amazon Pay Reviews in April 2025: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

A reliable tool that I can actually trust my money with.

PROS: Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love the deals that Amazon Pay offers regularly. It helps that this is a pretty straightforward payment platform too. I’ve always felt secure in using it and all of my payments have been successful so far. CONS: Right now, Amazon Pay only has a limited reach. It cannot carry out transactions beyond its area of operations yet. I also wish that the developers would come up with an app that is independent to its parent solution, Amazon.

Do Not trust

I cancelled an order I made right after I made it. I called Seller and cancelled. Three days later the charge is still pending on my account. Spoke too Amazon Pay again and was told the funds will be refunded in 7-10 days. They hold the funds for no reason! Amazon Pay is either not reading my complaint or just insulting people

PROS: I prefer Amazon Pay to Amazon FBA because its reports present the facts straight and the presentation makes it easier to understand. The columns with the details such as total, net, and more are clearly delineated as well, adding to the user-friendliness of the solution. So dishonest and untrustworthy

Used Amazon pay to buy something online as it was an easy option and the seller didn’t accept PayPal. Spent £150 and never got the parcel. Contacted Amazon pay who said contact seller. I did and they said go away, basically. I contacted Amazon pay again several times who said it’s nothing to do with us we don’t guarantee delivery and the seller says the courier delivered the parcel. Contacted credit card company who said they cant help as I paid with Amazon pay. Tried complaining to Amazon ...

They exist just to waste your money and time

Somebody used my Amazon account and credit card information twice about total US$1,200. For $200, the seller refunded as they cannot verify my identity (sure it's stolen). But for the other $1,000. I've never used Amazon Pay but the criminal used my money as Amazon Pay probably because it's less noticeable. I contacted Amazon Pay more than 7 times but since each rep is one time only help (there is no way to reply to specific rep for follow up), nobody helped me to the end. Finally I ...

I cancelled an order I made with Stride Rite right after I made it. I called Amazon Pay and cancelled. Was told because it was cancelled so quickly they can reverse the charge. Three days later the charge is still pending on my account. Spoke too Amazon Pay again and was told the funds will be refunded in 7-10 days. They hold the funds for no reason!
