I use Adobe Connect to host professional development events for our students.

What do you like best? The array of functions offered by the software is great. We're able to host speakers on- and off-site, include viewers on- and off-site, and offer interactive sessions for everyone involved. The polling function is very helpful, as is the capability of organizing different layouts (webcam, ppt, chats, etc.. What do you dislike? Sometimes our distance presenters aren't familiar with the software, and they require extra support in learning the basics in order for ...

Adobe Connect for online meetings and classrooms

What do you like best? Adobe Connect provides a range of tools within one package to manage webinars, online classrooms and remote meetings. The software has evolved over the years to become a very stable and reliable tool for online collaboration. The tools include webcam sharing, screen sharing, chat and collaborative whiteboards. Different layouts can be created for different purposes and it is easy to switch between them during a live meeting. One feature of Connect that many other ...

Clunky, Flash-Based, mostly works

What do you like best? It has the basic feature set down - screen sharing, content sharing, breakout groups, webinar and small meeting rooms, audio and video sharing. It's a stalwart for sure, but there are lots of new kids on the block. It has good Chat and Q&A features, but the Q&A takes some getting used to. What do you dislike? It's clunky, ugly UI, the video sharing is really low resolution, the audio quality is acceptable but not great, and the competition blows it away in terms ...

Great, Feature Reach Tool for a Great Webinar Experience

What do you like best? The ability to fully customize the event pages and branding is what I love most about Adobe Connect and what separates it from it's competitors. What do you dislike? Due to the great features you can utilize during a live webinar, it is tricky learning how to then easily download a useable recording for use on your website (the recording include all the "pods" unless you figure out a way to remove/hide then during the offline recording. Recommendations to ...

Better than conference calls.

What do you like best? Most people are already familiar with the product as many online classes use it for communication, so there is more of a chance that new people will already be familiar with it. What do you dislike? It does take some time to load and people have to run a system check to make sure that they are able to use it. Recommendations to others considering the product Perhaps making it easier to check for system qualifications. What business problems are you solving ...

Adobe Connect - Good choice

What do you like best? Adobe Connect is a stable system that works across most operating systems and browsers so you can reduce problems with 'wrong' browers or missing plugins. Nothing disturbs a classroom more than technical problems. It also offers a lot of possibilities to customize your layouts and look and feel. You can place your pods (= windows at every position of the screen. Adobe Connect has a quite elaborated whiteboard comparing to some similar solutions To create ...

Adobe connect is userfriendly

What do you like best? I love the fact that we can mute a caller when making background noise. I like that we can email screen info directly from chat rooms, or thru pods... there are too many too list What do you dislike? I dislike that we can't just click on the participants to lower the hands or their status... when producing. It takes too much time to go to menu options... sometimes there is a pod delay when opening... not often.. I also don't like that they have the option ...

Great for sharing information

What do you like best? The best part of Adobe Connect is sharing the information with others who use this software. If you attend school and love taking notes through your IPad or Computer, you can share what notes you are writing with everyone in your classes. Also, it is a great virtual meeting place. What do you dislike? The updates has become a disaster. At first, I was able to use it effectively and efficiently, but it is useless since I am unable to work with the latest updates. ...

Great for recording distance learning sessions

What do you like best? It keeps a recording of all of the webinars we records so that we can easily access them later. It is very easy to use and train our presenters. it support many media formats that a presenter may include in their presentation. I like how the each presentation layout can be customized. What do you dislike? I wish the recorded format was in an .mp4 format. It would be nice if it supported streaming video playback better. I have many presenters which ...

What do you like best? The highly advanced audio and visual tools can help in producing memorable presentations for casual to important business occasions. Despite the price tag, Adobe comes with a variety of follow-up tools, simple to use interface, and innate integration with other software tools. It has screen-sharing, chat, video conferencing and an advanced whiteboard for collaboration. What do you dislike? Adobe Connect comes with a large price tag. For someone who needs to use ...
