Adobe Acrobat the best option to manage PDF files

What do you like best? In my opinion Adobe Acrobat is a necessity to do business because many downloads and websites require it, it has a lot of functionality and is very simple to use, I like all the functions that are available in Adobe, it has become the standard pdf viewer In many industries. What do you dislike? I don't like that you have to pay a monthly subscription fee, I'd rather pay a flat rate for a product instead of paying it eternally. In addition, I have encountered ...

Acrobat DC - Powerful, but out of touch

What do you like best? Acrobat DC is really unrivaled as far as PDF viewing and management is concerned. No other program has come close to the ease of US or capabilities of Acrobat. What do you dislike? Licensing, cost, and subscription models can be frustrating to those of us who prefer to purchase a piece of software and be done with it. Additionally, using multiple licenses on one Adobe ID can be challenging given that install limits are based on Adobe ID, rather than on ...

Great for reading, not for editing

What do you like best? I like the ability to review PDFs and highlight them. I frequently use them for scientific papers and for reading documents. What do you dislike? I don't like the limited ability to edit documents. You can't redact portions, rotate, edit text, etc...without buying a premium version of the software which is subscription based rather than an outright purchase. additionally, it shows these features as available in the software, so you don't know it isn't included ...

How did we live before this?

What do you like best? I can combine files into one PDF. I love this. I have emails that come in with multiple attachments - I don't want to sit and open and close every single one. I can combine them all into one document. What do you dislike? I don't like the edit button. I don't necessarily want every thing to be editable. Some times I just want to be able to snip a section, or delete a line, or cover a line, or change a date.. there's too much going on with this function and I ...

The best PDF viewer out there!

What do you like best? I like the ability to combine multiple PDF’s into a single file, or turn one into many files. It is also great for editing PDF’s. For example, I often export autocad files into PDF and one of the images might have a slight border on it. It’s extremely easy to edit the pdf to remove the border if I choose to. What do you dislike? I am not a huge fan of the acrobat extension for Chrome. I prefer chrome’s PDF Viewer rather than launching into acrobat so I have ...
