I wish I had read it was a scam first on Trustpilot. This company is infamous for overdrafting accounts, and they target low-income people by promising to help save money in the ads. It's actually a stock market app. Also, they charge a hidden subscription fee of $5.00 that you do not consent to, and it does not appear in your Apple subscriptions and you cannot cancel it without logging into the app and entering a 6-digit number sent to whatever phone you registered to your account. I shut down my acorns app almost a year…

I shut down my acorns app almost a year ago in December because I wasn’t seeing any benefits by using it. They returned my money but then started billing me through a secondary company. They took out different amounts of money from my account monthly till I realized and called my bank. I’m very angry they would do that because that’s theft, I don’t have an active account. Stay away from them, they have shady business practices and are starting to act like pyramid schemes before they crash. ...

Acorns is horrible for saving or investing. Acorns has ILLEGALLY BEEN DOUBLE DEBITING OUR CHECKING ACCOUNT AND CAUSED NUMEROUS OVERDRAFT FEES. Then they tried to tax us and charge fees. Them their wait hold times take AN HOUR. Filing fraud against you Acorn moronloseridiotscammers. Trashy app that locks you out and assigns you a pin number that you did not choose. Trash joke just like the fake pumped up stocks they chose that will all soon go to zero from the horrible administration.
