Terrible company
Terrible company. The company does not care to actually help you. In my instance the support team refused to assist with the issue I was having with the referral bonus. All I got was copy pasted guidelines and terms. Getting the issue escalated was a problem. When the escalations team finally contact me by phone they were unable to “recode” the system after the referral has been attempted is how the agent stated it. Do not fall for their promotions. It takes 4-6 days to have a referral account verify. Their promotions last only 6-10 days. This would mean you would need to refer ALL people by the first or second day of the promotional period. I joined a referral promotion where it was 3 referrals for $600 by November 6. I invited and had all 3 deposit $5 on November 4th. Their accounts did not verify until November 7/8 and still are not completed. I did not receive the benefits of the November 6 ...

I have had an investing account with Acorns for a couple years now with no issue, but recently I get my round ups restarted, open a retirement account, and a checking account with them as they were offering a couple promotions. Acorns continued to charge me a monthly fee even after I canceled the service and closed my account, I’ve had to call multiple times to correct this with long hold times. When I tried to get it corrected through online chat it was not fixed.

Its a rip-off
Its a rip-off. I signed up for a $1.00 subscription so they put me in a $5.00 subscription. Completely changed how I wanted to invest to something so conserviative it earned almost .01 . I canceled the subscription and all withdrawals and then suddenly I was signed up again. I have AGAIN cancelled the subscription. Of course they continued to withdraw money. I am going to call my bank and try to stop it from that end. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ACORNS!

Stealing my money after I canceled and closed my account
I was going through my bank account and noticed a charge from acorn, which I cancelled my subscription and closed my account entirely over 3 months ago. I looked into this and saw it allllll over the web. They do this to a lot of people hoping you won’t notice. Do NOT trust this company with your important banking info. Can't Get Support To Help
Acorns is impossible to get through to chat is the easiest but you still wait a good 30 mins, emails seem to be in response to your chat closing before you can get help, and forget about phones. Once you do get some assistance (over email) the answers are pretty vague or come in a form of “sorry we don’t know how to help we’ll get back to you.” Leaving you in the position of needing to send another email 2 days later, which is answered by a different person who tells you “sorry we can’t ...
