Zabbix is great for the large enterprise or devops

Zabbix is an excellent product for environments from small to very large in that it can be setup to monitor anything. It's low footprint for agents and focus on stability and scalability allows us to monitor thousands of machines with hundreds of thousands of metrics. The API allows any custom scripting you might need to build for functionality you might be lacking. Zabbix might not be suited for the "rookie" or SMB IT admin.

What do you like best? Zabbix has proven itself to be a highly effective and flexible monitoring tool. Not bad, if you will work on it

What do you like best? Zabbix is extremely flexible while having a good architecture for reducing repeating yourself. It has a lot of information available and the ability to customize how you see it. Its support of ipv6 was critical to my decision making as I don't want to have to switch monitoring tools later.
