Mac users needing an alternative to Microsoft Visio, this is it!
What do you like best? Quick loading and intuitive. The ability to import Visio files is a definite plus! Laying out line drawing for systems I build, this is an excellent alternative to the mainstream Visio on Windows machines. What do you dislike? Visio imports can sometimes be imported incorrectly resulting in misplaced points and lines. This can be fixed with a little time, but ultimately it would be nicer if the imports went smoother. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Omnigraffle is a great tool for wireframing!
What do you like best? My favorite thing about Omnigraffle is the inspector panels, there are lots of tools you can use to create lovely documents! The program also doesn't lag when I have multiple pages, sometimes up to 100. What do you dislike? I wish I could do more with images, I like how I can crop and scale but it would be nice if I could adjust hue and saturation on my images. i.e make an image black and white. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Great diagraming and wireframing tool
What do you like best? The ability to create stencils and the ease of creating precise wireframes. What do you dislike? Lack of prototyping or being able to export to another prototyping software. It would be nice to be able to set up HTML prototype files writhing Omnigraffle. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use this program for wireframes and annotations.

Great tool for mental maps and wireframing
What do you like best? Omnigraffle is built for wireframing, diagramming, and mapping in a no-frills way that ousts competitors like Visio or Balsamiq. It's clean and has all the features you need, but not too much. Auto-locking and flexibility to drag objects and have their connectors move with you makes it really easy to change and update existing maps. What do you dislike? It's pretty lo-fi and not very robust for something like wireframing, so it's best to use this in conjunction ...

Solid tool for charts and wireframing
What do you like best? The OmniGraffle is one of the best and most powerful tools by the Omni Group. It wonderfully helped me to draw graphics for my software development projects as well as for presentations. It contains everything I want and especially the simple snapping and alignment directly during the moving or resizing of the objects makes it easy to create aesthetic drawings. What do you dislike? Sometimes the UX is not very intuitive. But that's a result of the great amount of ...

There is no better diagramming program for the Mac
What do you like best? Omnigraffle is a powerful, flexible diagramming program. I use it mostly to create flow charts, and with a little work you can use it to make beautiful charts. I especially like how easily you can create custom templates and collections of symbols. This makes it easy to create and share specific styles and elements for specific uses. The smart snapping and alignment tools set the standard years before Photoshop and the like added them. Finally, the iOS app is ...

I've used Omnigraffle for about a year to support my UX design work
What do you like best? Omnigraffle is one of the best tools around for creating process flows, screen flows, and any other logic or path based maps. One of my favorite features is the ability to import stencils that represent different mobile and desktop screens. What do you dislike? The interface can be a bit clunky at times; I feel like I have to do more clicking than necessary to access the features I want. I think there could be some improvements in this area that would make my ...

Versatile Wireframing Tool
What do you like best? I like how the Inspectors give an easy way to manipulate shapes, line, text and canvas size. I also like the wide variety of Stencils available. What do you dislike? I really dislike Omnigraffle 6. I think the changes made for that release decreased usability significantly. I still use Omnigraffle 5 for most things. Recommendations to others considering the product: Get to know the Inspectors. Everything is there. What problems are you solving with the ...

UX/UI Designer
What do you like best? I like that the learning curve is relatively easy coming from Adobe Illustrator. Features like dragging and dropping files that link and update, robust inspector, ease of use are among the reasons I enjoy using it. What do you dislike? I wish that the hot keys were not the exact opposite from Illustrator - they're so similar that I'm often hitting the wrong thing when switching back and forth. The page setup for dimensions is a little hard to get a hang of. ...
