What I do know is that they earn their big revenue from various set of advertising accounts. See my point here ? So from there could grow your dissapointment with them finally. I do hope it will fix itself. but it appears they do not work like they should anymore.

Could Be Better

What do you like best? I love being able to see a pie chart of my spending. That visual representation made a big impact on our spending. What do you dislike? Account connectivity issues!!! These issues make the app pretty useless at this time. When I am connected to my account, it's not current. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? No actual service... but lots of ads

I tried using Mint.com to manage a couple rental accounts. I was told by several people that it used to be magical until it was bought by Intuit, and I can see what they meant. Je les déconseille

Nous étions avec un autre fournisseur que MINT a repris. Récemment, nos ordinateurs nous disaient constamment que le modem n'était pas sûr et utilisait un protocole obsolète. Après plus de 14 jours à essayer de les contacter (téléphone, e-mail, téléphone, e-mail, téléphone .......) sans réponse, nous avons changé de fournisseur. Cela a une réponse! Maintenant, ils réclament le retour de 2 modems, dont l'un a été changé il y a plusieurs années, avant qu'ils ne soient notre fournisseur, et ...

Will not accept data older than 90 days.

Based on good write-ups I opened account. only then did I find out that I cannot add data older than 90 days. even manually. (I even used their chat to verify).Then when I went to delete my account, their instructions don't match reality. Again, used Chat to clarify, and you have to request account delete (takes up to 45 days?!!!), except I got "system error, please try again later"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Stay away. I wish I could have found reviews like this before I signed up.

Poor format and experience all around.

Takes a really long time to load accounts. So long I end up just leaving and going to the accounts directly. There should be a way to select priority accounts that are loaded each visit and others that are less frequent. Several of my institutions aren't available with mint at all. Every login at least one or two accounts is having problems I need to 'fix.' Their tech support is arduously slow. Advertisements are overwhelming. Their notices (like about large transactions) are delayed, ...

Terrible backups

Terrible backups. Out of nowhere, I lost all of my history from the past 2 years and they said they can not recover it. Now only have 3 months' worth of data. Pure trash.

customer service SUCKS with Mint...

customer service SUCKS with Mint...half the time there is no chat support, and the other half of the time, they multitask so much that minutes go by between trivial lines of conversation.The mint site has plenty enough bugs to make you need to report them, but you cant without jumping thru bureaucratic hoops which take FOREVER because the chat operators are working multiple customers at the same time!

Do not synch your bank or Paypal accounts

I synched my bank account and my Paypal. My brother the software engineer told me it was a really bad idea to give them access to these accounts. If they get hacked, your accounts will be easily wiped. What was I thinking. I go to delete the accounts, in order to completely remove my bank login information from their system, and get an error message.
