What do you like best about CodePen? It's absolutely free. Just visit their website, log in and you are good to go. The interface is extremely well-designed and it is also customizable to suit your needs. You can check instant results on the output panel. You can play around with the CSS and JS as much as you want without the hassle of saving and running a local file.
