SuperAnnotate: A great tool for data annotation

SuperAnnotate is an awesome tool for the researchers/students who are working with the dataset preparation for computer vision related applications such as environment perception including object detection and semantic segmentation. It helped me a lot in my Masters' thesis. Recommended.

What do you like best about SuperAnnotate? In comparison to other platforms, I find SuperAnnotate to be extremely simple to use. One of the best things about this platform is semantic segmentation. Most annotation platforms we had experience on do not offer pixel based image annotations. I have had the opportunity to work on the platform for 4 months and have seen first-hand how intently they respond to our feedback and provide updates that boost efficiency even further. Hard not to recommend!

I tried a few of the annotation platforms, but SuperAnnotate seems to be one of the fastest. It takes much less time to load datasets. It also is a good example of an organized annotation platform. The UI is a familiar one - reminiscent of Photoshop and is easy to use. The tools are easy to locate and operate with. I especially like the ability to draw…

I especially like the ability to draw contours by just dragging the mouse-cursor or apple-pencil. It's a life saver compared to free tools like VGG-VIA.
