Great tool for API design, composition, documentation

What do you like best? The ability to quickly add and manipulate elements with the designer, but still have the ability to make changes directly to the JSON data. Additionally, the ability to work with all projects through git makes coloring outside the lines possible. What do you dislike? I'd like to be able to use YAML editing, have the ability to segment versions so that say v1.1 is published, but those with sufficient authorization could access v1.2 that's in development. ...

Great tool for API specification and Documentation

What do you like best? A single place for all definitions - data models, API Specification for both internal and external services, alongside a great authoring tool - allowing me to create compelling documentation for our internal developers and third-party developers using our APIs. What do you dislike? There is nothing I dislike, but there are points for improvement. However, they continue to improve the product and I assume most of the needs will be addressed. What problems ...

Contract-first Design Enabler

What do you like best? Contract-centric design and testing. Collaboration built-in directly for the product. Attractive documentation sites. Fair-use pricing. Thoughtful, nimble team. What do you dislike? Some growing pains as part of Stoplight Next development cycle / feature parity with previous version Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are looking for a contract-centric choice in the Swagger ecosystem - this is the one that best-matches a contract & ...

Powerful API Testing - Even Stateful APIs

What do you like best? The GUI is excellent and the fact its supporting the Open-API standards makes me confident we can build our tools around it. What do you dislike? The stoplight team has assured me this will be fixed in the next release -- The tool has an online hosted centric approach, its made it a challenge to integrate into our multi-branch codebase were new features are developed on different branches. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

The most complete API design tool available

What do you like best? Automatic contract testing is a must for an API design first workflow. Beautiful published documentation, very convenient visual OAS editor. Based on GIT, including versioning. What do you dislike? No OAS3 support yet. No pull requests/comments support yet. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A single source of truth for API design, testing, documentation & mocking.

The outstanding progress of Stoplight Next

What do you like best? I love the way that Stoplight Next is able to offer the full integration abilities needed in the development of APIs. From my point of view Stoplight Next is the best offer out there! Great user experience in: - API specification and validation. - API testing and cross-validation with it's Swagger specification detailing every possible difference. between the real response and specification response. - Separation of environment instances. ...
