Kudos to Kyle Robb who has been patient, Connor Katz to getting me up to speed 8 months ago and Frank Salituro who makes adding additional projects a breeze. What do you like best? Reasonably intuitive UI, good knowledge base. What do you dislike? It's the most expensive platform on the market yet under delivers on performance. Many industry standard features are missing and very limited configurations available. It may be ok if you can use it as is out-of-the-box, but venture away from their standard use cases and you're in trouble. What do you like best about Smartling? Smartling makes it easy to host a database of strings, have them be translated by third parties, and integrate them into your project. What do you dislike about Smartling? Strings cannot be shared cross platform without custom integration. For iOS & Android, the format for localized strings differ, which requires separate files. What do you like best about Smartling? It's awesome to have a translation software that can be used for multiple languages and projects. It makes our life easier and the process a lot smoother.
