I like the simplicity of the software, design, and the no-nonsense approach. What do you like best? Smartling's user interface is designed in a way that is very user-friendly. As a project manager, there are a lot of functions that help maintain translation quality, for example character limit, TM search, smart-matches, glossary terms. It also allows you to pull data from the tasks you are doing/have done for analysis. What do you like best about Smartling? It is very user friendly from the translator's point of view. You have all the tools ready and available as soon as you open the project. You also have the option to use an MT and the Editor is very robust. Another cool feature is that the editor and translator can work on different strings of a project at the same time. I wish it were easier to manage many languages at once. We work with over 50 locales, and it would be great to view all translations for the same job on the same screen.
