Smoothly translate contents

PROS: It's smooth integration with our web's CMS allows us to translate really fast. One feature, the fact translator, can quickly identify if we change a copy on site. This is very useful because we're doing a lot of switches between info and messages. It's wide-range of language support is helpful too. CONS: The onboarding process' speed wasn't impressive. It must be noted, however, that Smartling's Contentful connector was still on beta at that point. Also, accurasy-wise, the ...

Amazing customer support team!

PROS: The whole Smartling team has been beside us every step of the way - from setting up the GDN, translating our content, to fixing minor issues we encountered. They ensure that the translations are high quality. I love their cheerfulness and professionalism. CONS: I have to log into the system more frequently to monitor untranslated content changes. It would be nice if they provide an automated reminder or notification for this.

"Smartling - An easy to use modern translation management system"

What do you like best about Smartling? I've used other translation CMS in the past and never had difficulties learning the ins and outs of Smartling since the interface is very intuitive. I also like how the high-level contents are organised, which makes things easy to find. I also appreciate that the team has been working on additional quality evaluation features, which I find very crucial for my role as a quality lead. The new integrations that are being introduced also allows us to ...

"Very user-friendly tool with great QA options"

What do you like best about Smartling? The fact that it has a great inbuilt QA report feature within the editor that is extremely helpful in ensuring consistency and avoiding typos and other small mistakes. I like that it is possible to send individual strings back to a previous workflow step, in many other CAT tools, you would have to send all content back. This is helpful for amends and makes the overall process more agile. It is also great that the workflow steps can be adjusted to match ...

Smartling Review

PROS: The tool is directly connected to our site, making the translation process seamless and very dynamic. We are able to absorb the translated content during the testing phase. CONS: I feel like most translators still depends a lot on files for translating contents so adding more features for file-based translation would be great. Also, it would be nice if users would be given more control on their content being managed offline via files like PowerPoint or Excel. I also have concerns with ...

Smartling – an awesome tool with amazing customer service team.

PROS: We are able to consolidate our translations in one solution. But I think the top perk of using this solution is the speed of translation. We're now able to complete our translation projects faster than before. I also like the Platinum support. It has been very helpful to us. CONS: When you use a third-party LSP, it's quite hard to get feedback across to translators.
