"ReadCube papers is very helpful for academic writing!!!"

What do you like best about ReadCube? While reading, you can highlight inside the pdf files and quickly check all the highlighted sentences later in the library without reopening the pdf file, which helps save a lot of time. What do you dislike about ReadCube? Not all journals support checking the reference list while looking at the main text. And sometimes, it's annoying that the notification bumps out so often of updating reminders. What problems is ReadCube solving and how is that ...

"A rich note-taking experience for PDFs that's not quite a full-orbed research system"

What do you like best about ReadCube? I subscribed to Papers to solve a problem with other methods of reading PDFs: I wanted all my notes as well as the full text of the articles to be accessible by search within a single interface. Papers solves that problem well, and organizes articles with competence. The web app is on par with the desktop version; both handle themselves beautifully. "Doing well, still needs improvement..."

What do you like best about ReadCube? The list and tag features are solid; very helpful for organizing my library. Also, their Google Chrome browser extension is seamless. You can even select which list/folder you want new publications saved to. What do you dislike about ReadCube? The import process has improved, but still needs some work. You can't directly save your folders/lists from Endnote to RC Papers, but must recreate them. Also, in the library view, you can sort to have the papers ...

"Brilliant AI for discovering relevant research, failed to meet my basic needs as an MA student"

What do you like best about ReadCube? The AI recommendations based on articles you add to the tool are excellent! Very kind people in support. What do you dislike about ReadCube? The bugs and frustration of getting the basics needed for desk research to work well: importing citations, PDFs, search, and the slightly clunky annotation tools (those are pretty good, just not as slick as the other tool I wound up going with). When I was testing it service was also very overloaded and slow to ...

"Cumbersome, slow, very limited software"

What do you like best about ReadCube? 1- Automatic download of supplementary information (well, part of it). 2- Tech Support is friendly and helpful, although they are online less than 4hs a day. What do you dislike about ReadCube? 1- It does not recognize Acrobat PDF editions. If you highlight, make notes, write words or signs (simple edition tools that ReadCube does not have) on a PDF you need to import it again otherwise any edition will be lost. 2- It takes forever to import and synch, ...
