I used Powerschool on a daily basis to look up student information & complete work tasks.

What do you like best? I liked the options of sorting through each category. For instance when I needed to look at only the 5th graders I was able to separate it by category instead of weeding through all the students. Needs work

What do you like best? Font is easy to see and you can track attendance and grades in the same program. What do you dislike? It is not user friendly. Reports are sometimes hard to find. Grades have to be sorted through to find anything. It is much more difficult to use than others I have used in the past and has less functionality. Easy to use

What do you like best? Our teachers love how easy and quick PowerSchool is. Right now, we are using the student information system and the gradebook. When we train teachers at the beginning of the year, it is quick because our teachers can so easily navigate everything. What do you dislike? What do you like best? I like that the program is statewide. Consistency from district to district. Easy to navigate. Like the parent portal feature as well. What do you dislike? What do you like best? Powerschool makes it easy for all users involved- teachers, students, and parents, to track grades and keep courses in line. I find that it's easy to update folks in real time, and to keep those nervous parents who would otherwise be calling or e-mailing informed! What do you dislike? Useful when it works!

What do you like best? It's user-friendly and does not feel cumbersome to use in most cases. Data is catalogued easily and information is easily searchable. It's definitely a 21st century system that updates in real time to benefit parent-linked accounts. What do you dislike? The PowerSchool system is down frequently and often without warning. What do you like best? We have been using PowerSchool at our small private high school for almost 10 years. I have worked with PowerSchool at a PS administrator, registrar and teacher.
