What do you like best? I like being able to weight grades and specific types of assignments What do you dislike? I dislike that it’s missing information. You can access a lot online but in the actual app it’s limkted, and I wish it was all in one place. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows parents and other teachers to all access students grades so there are no secrets about student performance.

Powerful, but very daunting

What do you like best? PS has the potential to house pretty much all important student data. What do you dislike? Customizing for an individual District/School is very intensive and requires a high level of specific knowledge. I am the 3rd PS administrator since our district began using PowerSchool and we still are not anywhere near fully tapping it's potential. Good overview of student's academic information

What do you like best? The mobile app gives give a display of student's grades and attendance and is very intuitive interface. What do you dislike? Availability of the information is completely dependent on the teacher's timeliness entering the information. Peers for PowerSchool

What do you like best? I like the ability to get all contact information and demographics from students within one place along with grades. What do you dislike? The only thing I dislike is the separate required logins when wanting to input grades. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Not connected to business; however, I've noticed that with recent updates the files are no longer the same type.

What do you like best? Ease of use - I like how entering and saving grades is not a daunting task anymore. Parent communication is very easy as well. What do you dislike? There’s really nothing I dislike about the program. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? No business benefits, but it does aid in communication

PowerSchool SIS

What do you like best? PowerSchool has a vast and knowledgeable customer base. Getting help is not hard. What do you dislike? Sometimes it is hard to keep up with the growing company and the improvements. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? With having 38 schools in our district it is a great way for us to share students as they move from one school to the next.

PowerSchool - Instructional Resource

What do you like best? I like that the students and parents have an access portal to see up-to-the-minute grade and attendance information. I like that as a teacher, all of my students' information is in one place. What do you dislike? I don't like that it does not calculate the weight of each individual assignment in my gradebook as I put them in. I have to be careful that I put assignments in the right category and that I have enough of them so they don't weigh too much. ...

Great for parents

What do you like best? I like that not only can the school sites use this program but parents can as well. It is an easy to down load app. and you can keep tabs on all you children grades, absents, and lunch account. Really easy to navigate this program. Pretty Good Program

What do you like best? Ease of profile use and quick access to reports. What do you dislike? That there is no option to attach photos to student profiles. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Digital organization of student/family information.

Powerful for Schools

What do you like best? PowerSchool gives the staff in our district easy access to student information and links directly to online curriculum materials. What do you dislike? It takes some time to learn to navigate the system, but works well once you've been trained.
