PowerSchool SIS Good and Bad

What do you like best? Oracle database, able to query things from back end using sqlplus or SQL Developer. Ability to modify PowerSchool front end pages is good. Latest versions of PowerSchool, version 19.11 and 20.4 do address normalization far better than previous versions we have used. What do you dislike? What do you like best? PowerSchool is always evolving and adding new features. They have solutions and resources for new programs that are created. What do you dislike? What do you like best? I love that I can quickly access student information no matter where I am. What do you dislike? I would like to see a more user friendly app for iOS devices. Powerful tool with a steep learning curve

What do you like best? It's all in the name! PowerSchool has a robust database, great customization, and an attractive interface for teachers, students, and parents. The gradebook is very good and has great reporting. Our reports are highly customizable and can be easily distributed to all schools. The best platform for student management!!

What do you like best? It's very easy to create custom forms and reports. What do you dislike? I don't like having to assign kids to every class individually. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? None.

Small School

What do you like best? The options are limitless...You can do about anything you want with it...if you have the time. What do you dislike? It is a mile wide and a mile deep...I just don't have the time to utilize all of it as I am the sole admin at my school for PS. What problems are you solving with the product?
