Great for education

What do you like best? It offers a variety of platforms that can be used by teachers, staff, administrators and more. What do you dislike? Takes time to learn how to use. A little bit of quick training is necessary for all of the tools. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Made keeping track of student data very easy and all in one place digitally.

Easy to use

What do you like best? PowerSchool is easy to use and allows me to get things done quickly and efficiently. What do you dislike? There is nothing I don’t like about this. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows me to manage schedules of students easily.

A bit difficult at first

What do you like best? I love the fact that parents are able to see grades instantly and have access. It’s a great tool for counselors and administrators to run reports. What do you dislike? May take some time to learn how to navigate through PowerSchool. Ease of access and nice interface

What do you like best? I like the navigation and ease of use compared to Edline. I particularly like the global view which shows a snapshot of all of my daughter's classes. What do you dislike? At the moment I have not run across anything I dislike. I also plan to look at the mobile versions of powerschool. What do you like best? Easy to use. Can maintain attendance records and gradebook in one place. What do you dislike? Marking students absent is confusing at first because it shows up as unverified. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Allows teachers/schools to keep attendance and academic records I one place.

Easy-to-use solution

What do you like best? It is a very easy to use software. We can effectively manage school processes and student data. What do you dislike? We cannot add parents contacts. A feature like that would be so helpful. Recommendations to others considering the product It is worth it. The software meets the requirements. Concise and straight forward

What do you like best? I like how all grading/behavioral/seating chart/personal information is all in one location. What do you dislike? That sometimes it seems like I put grades in and accept them, yet they get deleted and I don't always catch that. Great way for students to keep track of grades

What do you like best? When I was a high school student, my school used powerschool, and I loved the visibility that powerschool brought to students. I loved that I knew what my grades were on what assignments, and that I could easily see if I was falling behind early on in the semester, and make proactive plans to change that. What do you dislike? At the time I was using powerschool, I wish that teachers could've provided more detailed comments/feedback on individual grades. This ...

Great organization all in one place

What do you like best? I loved being able to assign specific weight to different categories within the grade book section. What do you dislike? Classes from previous semesters sometimes stayed in my welcome screen clogging it up a bit. Recommendations to others considering the product It is definitely a nice tool to have, not to have to go to different places for your attendance and grading. Also, our students were able to check their grades and respond to you, which is nice. What ...
