Organized and user friendly

What do you like best? Updates on grades, and input from each teacher on assignments. What do you dislike? Wish the classroom learning and grade book were connected for continuity, but this may be an issue with how we utilize system. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Utilizing it with a global classroom and virtual school. Having all assignment and class notes available to students after class has ended so they can review.

Keep grades up to date

What do you like best? I can import my assignments/ grades directly from Schoology. There is also an app available that makes keeping up on the go easy. What do you dislike? A missing/ late assignment shows as a zero so it gives parents and students a false understanding of his/her grade. I also wish Students had earlier access to Powerschool so they could be more in charge of their own grades. Provides a secure place for all student information

What do you like best? Powerschool allows for multiple users at different authority capacities to share and edit documents related to students all around the school district. It's a wonderful and secure option for file sharing. What do you dislike? It could be more streamlined, with more intuitive menus on the main webpage. Best application for schools

What do you like best? The ease to enter grading information you can keep parents updated easily and not all assignments entered have to be included as a affecting the overall grade What do you dislike? Still trying to navigate how to email all parents about upcoming assignments What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to enter information and interface is easy to learn

PowerSchool was the easiest!

What do you like best? I like that it was easy to understand and find information and take role. What do you dislike? How it does not itdentify if a phone number is a home or work or cell phone. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I used to use it to take role and contact parents and see student grades.

As simple as using PowerSchool

What do you like best? PowerSchool is the easiest school system I have used in my twelve years of teaching. It is efficient & allows access for teachers, administrators, students, and parents. POWERSCHOOL for ALL!!

What do you like best? Power school makes it super easy for parents to keep track if their child's grades and progress, which is especially important in a special ed classroom. What do you dislike? The initial setup of the Power school account can be a bit tedious. Recommendations to others considering the product It's very much worth it to have Power Schools as a part of your teaching tools. PowerSchool Works!

What do you like best? That it has Teacher/Student/Parent linked portals. This makes it easy to have everyone on the same page. What do you dislike? Grading using this system is complicated and convoluted using this system. It requires repeated exposure and training to get accustomed to. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Paper waste/mailing costs/grade books/bulletins and memos being sent out.

Works as it should!

What do you like best? I like that there are numerous ways to search, and it isn’t case-sensitive. It links family members and is pretty user-fri madly. What do you dislike? Running reports is very complicated and difficult. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It’s comprehensive and fairly user-friendly.

What do you like best? I love the customization possibilities and that fact that PowerSchool is responsive to the requests of customers. The support has been very good. We have usually been able to get the product to do what we need. What do you dislike? It is sometimes difficult for our admin staff to get out the data they need.
