Easy and comfortable to use

What do you like best? All of your buildings in your district are in one system and they transfer so easily from year to year. What do you dislike? Some things that you think should be included in the base are not. You have to purchase them separately. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ease of adding fields and linking (so to speak) to different pages so that everything is only entered once instead of multiple times.

Flexibility at its finest!

What do you like best? The best thing about PowerSchool it's inherent flexibility. Almost all pages are customizable, so if something doesn't work for you, you can change it to fit your needs. The built-in tools are often sufficient, but if something needs adjusting, you have the ability to write a little code and extend the product yourself! Even if you can't code, there's a strong community of folks who will share their extensions to the core product, and these are easy to implement. ...

PowerSchool is great to fitting our needs

What do you like best? The customization ability has been great! The support team has always been attentive to issues. All around the core SIS product has been invaluable to our district with how powerful it is. They also listen to feedback. New enhancements and features are released wit hall major updates. PowerSchool: Our hub for data management.

What do you like best? We use PowerSchool as our main hub for managing student data all across our district. The built in functions for grading and attendance can handle multiple scenarios that accommodate our PK-12 students. We also like the ability to export all sorts of data for external curriculum, transportation, food service, and educational applications. The ability to add 3rd party plugins, and database access allows us multiple possibilities to sync data with external systems. ...

Outstanding Product Support

What do you like best? I like the fact that PS Support is always available to assist with issues. PS is quite user friendly in my opinion but there are these little secrets contained in PS that support always points me to. PS Support has been excellent in providing guidance to new users such as myself. What do you dislike? The downside to PS is the State Reporting extracts. I have used PowerSchool for the past 16 years! We looked at different SIS's a few years ago.

What do you like best? PowerSchool is one of the best SISs I have ever seen and used! I recommend it to everyone who is looking to change SISs . It is well worth the money! What do you dislike? Great to track students grades.

What do you like best? Used this in school and now as an educator. What do you dislike? Difficult for some parents to figure out how to set up. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Parents couldn’t figure it out. But once they did it has been great.

Excellent way to manage students

What do you like best? Powerschool allows me to check my children's grades, attendance, and behavior in school. I can see if my child has any missing assignments or assignments that were poorly done. My children can also log in to check on their progress, so that can take responsibility for themselves. As a teacher, it helps me communicate with parents on their child's current performance. What do you like best? All student information is housed in one place, you can also mass email students or parents. What do you dislike? More connectivity with Google Classroom would be very helpful.
