"Essential for Lawyers"

What do you like best about PerfectIt? This Word Plug-In is an essential lawyer tool (along with WordRake) for catching those little "mistakes" and inconsistencies in writing we all make: inconsistencies in capitalization and hyphenation, the failure to define terms, and so much more. For any lawyer that writes contracts, briefs, or pleadings, this is a must-have.

"It's Perfect!"

What do you like best about PerfectIt? It's great for preliminary correction sweep for my novels, before I send them to the editor. It saves us both time and money.

"Don't regret not running a final check for a perfect document."

What do you like best about PerfectIt? IMO, the most helpful feature of PerfectIt is the thoroughness with which it double-checks multiple formatting and writing styles at once allowing you to consider which option to choose. As a technical writer/editor, it is impossible to compare everything and ensure one style was used while the remainder of the document differed. This software does that for you. It is preferable to run the checks within the file itself rather than uploading everything ...

"This app saves my entire team so much time"

What do you like best about PerfectIt? I like that it is integrated right into MS Word. I love that I can customize style sheets for the various needs of my clients, and share them across my team. I also have used their training to create custom rules.

"I would not file a brief without running PerfectIt!"

What do you like best about PerfectIt? It tells me when I need to make a change to match Bluebook style. For many changes it gives me the option of making each change depending on the context.

"PerfectIt catches all my inconsistencies"

What do you like best about PerfectIt? It keeps track of way more things than I ever could. Hyphenation, acronyms, numbers vs. words. It's great. It always catches things I've missed.

"PerfectIt is vital for my business"

What do you like best about PerfectIt? I have been using PerfectIt for many years now. I have customized style sheets set up for each editing client, which makes it easy to check against their house editorial style. I typically run it before I start editing a document and at the very end. I'm human, so I don't always see little inconsistencies, so PerfectIt provides the peace of mind that I've caught everything. One of my favorite things is that it checks that all abbreviations have been ...

"An essential tool for my editing business"

What do you like best about PerfectIt? (I'm a Dutch editor, using PerfectIt on Dutch manuscripts.) PerfectIt helps me to ensure consistency in the spelling, abbreviations and lists and nicely tidies up things like double spaces. The customizable stylesheets make sure I stick to the preferred spelling of various clients and pick up common errors. This saves me a lot of brainpower.
