DO NOT USE PAYCOR for your business payroll sevice

Terrible company. I just now got W2 as employee and as an employer it has been difficult to find out why. They charge enormous fees for terrible payroll service. They just deducted a huge amount for tax without warning me that they are making up for a mistake. My business account went into the overdraft column and PayCor says sorryl

Customer Service Failure

Horrible customer service. Whoever is the EVP of this department should be removed immediately. The whole model needs to be re-mapped. I am shocked at how bad this has atrophied. I would suggest some C-Suite people from Paycor sit in as a proxy for an end-user experience (e.g. dealing with IT dept reporting requests, etc..) and just walk the process. I would LOVE to hear that distillation from their perspective. Normalizing for all the vitriolic "I can't get my payroll check" crazy reviews, ...

Honestly baffled by how bad the support is!!

Ok I was spoiled from many years using ADP! Management here wanted to go with Paycor, was recommended by someone at a bank & didn't listen to me. Well here I am 4 months into using Paycor and the number of hours this company has paid me to get reports, phone calls to resolve has cost the company more than if we had continued processing the payroll ourselves. Payroll is simple really. Paycor has managed to make it difficult. There are some good things but the negative far outweighs the ...

What a joke

What a joke! Why do the have live "customer service" people on staff? They can't or won't do anything for the employee and hide behind the phrase "for security purposes, you need to contact your companies' payroll dept. or HR". WHY ARE THEY EVEN ANWSERING CALLS??? This platform is NOT user/consumer/enduser friendly and provides NO HELP for former employees of a company. There is no way to retrieve a final paystub nor a W2. How are they still in business with such BAD service? All flash and ...

Nickel and Dimed: My Experience with Paycor

My company stopped using Paycor in order to join a PEO that would allow us to strengthen our health benefits offerings while keeping costs low. While Paycor missed a quarterly filing or two semi-regularly, the issue was always rectified after a couple of months, and so I did not necessarily feel compelled to change payroll companies. The benefits savings were too good to pass up and so we left Paycor. Surprisingly, customer service responses were better/faster as a deactivated client. We ...

Worst implementation experience ever

Worst implementation experience ever. One hand does not speak with the other. The sales person actually said :we may have bit off more than we can chew with the amount of implementations we are trying to do at one time" What?!? How is that my problem with my issue.

Paycor has the worst customer service…

Paycor has the worst customer service and support for their clients. When you actually get ahold of someone, they don't know anything. It is hard to reach employees to get support. And worse, there isn't a department or option when calling to speak with someone regarding urgent same day payroll issues. They are supposed to be a payroll processing company but it can take 24+ hours to receive a response and then you get a new person each time and basically have to start over explaining the ...

Exposed sensitive employee information with no consequences.

There was a data breach and sensitive employee information was exposed. Paycor told my HR department that "if we are affected, Paycor will offer free credit monitoring, credit reports, and identity theft protection." Great. Several months later, I was notified that I was personally affected. When I researched the offer, it didn't seem to exist. When my HR department reached out for more detail, the response was "Paycor will not be providing credit monitoring services to affected ...

Worst payroll company out there

I wish I could give a negative star review. I switched because they were going to allow me to provide a tax credit that my previous payroll software was not going to allow during COVID. This has been one of the worst business decisions I've made. I've been cleaning up a mess that Paycor made for about 6 months now. When I signed up, Paycor removed over 10K from my bank account because they thought I owed money for taxes. They did return it, but I had to make a deposit to be able to make my ...

"Terrible Customer support"

What do you like best about Paycor? Simple interface, nothing else really is noteworthy. What do you dislike about Paycor? They do not support the filing of state taxes. They will not help you set up a new account with a new state. They are happy to send the witholding to the worng state without any notification. They will not help you at all with any issues that result. There is no one who responds when you have any issues with interfaces to 401-K provider. What problems is Paycor solving ...
